Looking Close... on Friday: Round in Vertical Photo

I took a photo of bowls in a vertical photo but when I saw this in the bush I thought it was more 'interesting'. If it doesn't quite fit the challenge, I can change it :)

I went for a walk this afternoon in Ariundle Ancient Oakwoodland hoping for a picture but not expecting much. But then, amongst the old oaks and the stands of silver birch trees I found the "moss balls", granite boulders, some of which I fondled to discover the moss was a full 12 inches thick on some humps.

Really was a magical time to be standing in Medano Creek there at Great Sand Dunes National Park for these captures at sunset.

I think I found the double-super-secret-hidden "magic" slider inside photoshop. Shhhhhhhhhhhh

A beautiful moment near my home.

On a hot afternoon, I escaped into the cool forest of my imagination. I found many magical places in which I would love to live.

Thanks for viewing!

I think it would have been fun being young and living in the 60's. Different times, indeed.

Fotograma completo adaptado a formato panorámico.

A significant number of Orthetrum cancellatum emergencies occur during the spring and I am fortunate to be able to enjoy them.

It is a mixture of magic and drama, since at that moment the emerging individual is defenseless and is exposed to attacks from their predators.

In the photo a female finishing stretching her wings, when she succeeds she will unfold them and once they are dry she will start the first flight.

Full frame adapted to panoramic format.

Taunus near Frankfurt / Germany

This forest is actually growing on top of dunes near the ocean. In this spot, all the green is simply moss covering the dune. It always feel very magical to walk through here.
