The Buçaco Forest ( Portuguese: “Mata Nacional do Buçaco”) in Portugal is a singular place, planted in the first quarter of the seventeenth century. This forest is considered a protected área and includes vegetal species from around the world, some of them gigantic, like the world-famous buffalo cedar (Cupressus lusitanica). It was in this Forest, that the Buçaco battle was fought in 1810, between the Anglo-Portuguese forces commanded by the Duke of Wellington on one side and the French commanded by André Massena on the other, a fact that is remembered in the Buçaco Military Museum.
Walking through the Alps, it dawns between the beautiful mountain ranges, magnificent.

No snow yet here, so I started with a shot from the little village in my area taken three years ago, when we have a lot of snow.
We really need snow in this time, because it´s dark most of the day.
