A Monarch and Bumble Bee sharing a Dahlia, best viewed large. I was initially photographing the bee and then the butterfly showed up. They stayed on there long enough for me to take a few shots and then they both left.

I've always loved this photo.
I remember the day I took it like it was yesterday, although it was nearly a year ago now. I was with my best friend, Dan, at Luane's, hangin' out and takin' pics.
Tears are forming in my eyes as I type this.
Dan passed away in May this year and I miss him horribly. Last Sunday would have been his 50th birthday; and man, did it hit me hard.
Today I saw this pic in my gallery and thought, "I've joined a lot more groups since i made this pic...I should honor the memory of my friend and revive it"...so I did. I hope someone gets joy from it. We had a great time that day.
We shared many laughs and many tears. His memory lives on in so many hearts.
