Magic Fountain of Montjuic
The inauguration of Magic Fountain of Montjuic took place on May 19, 1929, during the International Exhibition of Barcelona. The designer Carles Buigas sent the planes a year before the exhibition and many thought that the project was too ambitious to be created and far fewer thought they were finished for the day on which the exhibition began.
More than 3000 workers were in charge of the project and, after less than 1 year, the source Magic finished.
The magic source is a spectacular display of color, light, movement, music and acrobatics waterfowl. Combining all these elements and combines them correctly you get pure magic! The source is a magic show "obligatory" and highly recommended if you come to Barcelona.
Fantastic Magic Show at FAB Glitter last night!!! My first time performing there!! Though I think most people were concentrating on which half of Bri they preferred!
Dancers are great Magicians Assistants, and Gracie proved that today when she came to my Magic Show!!
She only earned...half...her salary. ;)
I broke one of my photography don’t do’s yesterday. I had great day exploring a wood in Northumberland, found lots of new places and totally wore myself out. On getting home late afternoon Carla fed me well with a delicious fish pie, Carla is a super cook, it’s her Italian genes and the love good food. So well fed and exhausted, all you intrepid explorers know this place, I made the big mistake of downloading my photos of the day onto the computer. This knocked my mood right in, very disappointed was I. So I did what I should have don’t in the first place, sat down with a good beer. My son Gino from Bristol sent some @drinkmoorbeer for my birthday last week, the one last was a Nor’Hop ultra pale ale, gorgeous. He sent a dozen selection and it does not matter which one I pick it always hit’s the spot. This morning after a grumpy damp dog walk, damming my camera to hell, it’s right what they say, a bad craftsman blames his tools, I sit down and look at my photos again, and this time I have a little more empathy for them. Here is one after I’d already started to make my way back to car and was on the phone to Carla saying as much. Ooo that looks interesting I say to a gap in a broken stone wall leading to splashes of yellow and golden, so I say bye and hang up. Fifteen minutes later I’ve passed the point of no return, up a steep slope heading towards some crags, I see below these silver birch sharing an opening with some tall pines but somehow managing to cloak there presents with a vail of shimmering leaves. The background pines and foreground birch help to give a natural split tone vignette, edged with the jutting branches of ragged pines acting as pointers to the magic show. It just shows what a good beer and a nights sleep can do for your photography.

VICTORIAN EDWARDIAN AMERICAN TOWN. It is somewhere in time, being 1890-1914. All welcome.
Period clothing is encouraged but not compulsory.
Visitors are always welcome, whether it be for shopping or relaxing in the Botanical gardens, taking a balloon ride over the town or taking a tour with our well informed taxi driver who can show you all the hidden gems. Or perhaps you would like a lazy summers day on the beach or a romantic slow river ride on the swan boats.

This scene was part of a magic show at the Provo Recreation Center. I thought the most amazing part of the show was how this girl squeezed into the bottom part of the box when a tube was put right through the middle.

Come one, come all
To my Magic Show
Snag all your friends
To come along too
No one should miss
This dazzling curtain call
I spin the moon
Where stars once flew
But now you shall see
What miracle taunts my breeze
From the top of the tent
To your mind it must please
Welcome to my magic show
You’ll never yearn to leave.
