For me, the swallowtail is the king of butterflies. One is currently flying endless rounds in my garden every afternoon. It's wonderful to watch it gliding and it seemingly enjoying itself. Every now and then a second one comes by and they fly away together. But a short time later, "mine" comes back to do its rounds again. I wonder how long it will keep coming...
Der Schwalbenschwanz ist für mich der König der Schmetterlinge. Zur Zeit fliegt einer jeden Nachmittag unendlich viele Runden in meinem Garten. Es ist wunderschön, ihm dabei zuzuschauen, wie er segelt und scheinbar Freude dabei hat. Ab und zu kommt noch ein zweiter vorbei, und sie fliegen dann gemeinsam weg. Aber kurze Zeit später kommt "meiner" wieder zurück, um seine Runden zu drehen. Bin gespannt, wie lange er noch kommt...

A magic sunset that I came across after a storm. The magic colors lasted just enough to take just a few shots and then vanished. Never seen something like this before.

The lights go on - St. John's fire in the Zugspitz Arena. Numerous helpers light torches or oil-soaked constructions, sometimes in difficult terrain, on ridges or in steep rock faces.
I had taken Quite a few Pictures of this scene with several different poses and windlight settings at the SaNaRae Heaven Ocean sim [SLURL : maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Junin/117/142/21 ] but I limited it down to my top 10 favorite images but I couldn't pick from there, so I put it up to a vote and these three seem to be the general consensus between everyone who saw the raw images so I decided to work on all three on Photoshop. The image itself is inspired by Damatjo Magic's latest image she took.
