Ein bezaubernder Morgen. Etwas Nebel liegt noch in der Luft, die Sonne steigt langsam am Horizont empor und gibt der Luft ein zauberhaft zartes Rot.
Nur eine Straße mit festgefahrener Schneedecke, einspurig, keinen Gegenverkehr zulassend, spiegelglatt führt zu diesem zauberhaften Platz in der Natur. Zum Glück finde ich einen möglichen Parkplatz und habe warme Handschuhe mit und eine Winterjacke an. Mit knirschenden Schritten wandele ich über die verschneiten Felder und fotografiere bis die Sonne hoch steht und die Finger vor Kälte die Tasten der Kamera nicht mehr bedienen wollen. Was für ein gelungenes Erleben der Natur an diesem bezaubernden Morgen.

Known locally as the magic tunnel in Wishaw, Lanarkshire by the youths, the lights when on glow in purple which bounce off the curved walls creating a very alien glow hence the name. Not able to get the image with lights on as you have to pick a time when the kids art running through it

For me, the swallowtail is the king of butterflies. One is currently flying endless rounds in my garden every afternoon. It's wonderful to watch it gliding and it seemingly enjoying itself. Every now and then a second one comes by and they fly away together. But a short time later, "mine" comes back to do its rounds again. I wonder how long it will keep coming...
Der Schwalbenschwanz ist für mich der König der Schmetterlinge. Zur Zeit fliegt einer jeden Nachmittag unendlich viele Runden in meinem Garten. Es ist wunderschön, ihm dabei zuzuschauen, wie er segelt und scheinbar Freude dabei hat. Ab und zu kommt noch ein zweiter vorbei, und sie fliegen dann gemeinsam weg. Aber kurze Zeit später kommt "meiner" wieder zurück, um seine Runden zu drehen. Bin gespannt, wie lange er noch kommt...
