M - Mayday Parade.

Anyone who actually knows my husband wouldnt be at all suprised to know he wears boxers like these!

This is for the 123 group who are visiting rabbits today for the Chinese Calendar.

I was chuntering away to myself yesterday, mostly about how I was going to find a rabbit, whether I should just photograph my dancing hares or attempt some elaborate dressing up. My husband had to go and get some stuff for the dog, and to prove he had actually paid attention to me 'rabbiting on' sent me this picture which he had taken on his phone. So I have taken a picture of my phone with his picture on it. There, done.

Apparently I am a Goat (according to the calendar). Goat people are supposed to be elegant (ha ha, no) charming (mmmmm) generous (maybe) wise (nope) and gentle (ha ha ha ha ha). They are also pessimists, hesitant, and over-anxious worriers (also not applicable). Uncertainty causes the Goat people to seek guidance from others while their timidity prevents them from becoming great leaders. (me - timid? how people would laugh!!!).

They are deeply religious (nope) and highly talented in the fields of art and music (nope). Goat people should be good in the professions of gardening, actor, artist, entertainer, musician, or photography (I am a scientist, but do like to garden, act, entertain and take pretty pictures).

I have another plan for the 365....

"When I think more than I want to think

Do things I never should do

I drink much more that I ought to drink

Because it brings me back you

Lilac wine is sweet and heady,

Like my love

Lilac wine, I feel unsteady,

Like my love"

I would like to thank my dear friend Emily for writing me the sweetest testimonial yesterday! Here's to you girl!

What do you think, did Chuppy catch it or miss?

Surprisingly, he caught it! He probably just made that face for a dramatic picture, that's all. (: Today was so hot, we couldn't go anywhere. Wish there was a dog park around here with a lake (hint hint). Hopefully, things will cool down because I'm a outdoor girl, can't coop me and my dog in!

Downloaded a free trial (30 days) of Adobe Lightroom, the most confusing experience of my life!! I'm just gonna stick to good ole Photoshop CS2.

Have a COOL day!

this scene really made me laugh: in the middle of our shooting in front of the opera house uli suddenly put his small s80 (on a mini-tripod) on the fountain border to take a close-up of the water. imagine this view: 3 slr cams on tall tripods and this little baby cam on the fountain border. it looked so stranded… ;)

it was such a hilarious sight!

thanks, uli, for the biggest joke on that evening.

by the way, how turned this shot out, hm?

just a re-edited shot but thought id choose a funny one as wanted to share a funny story!

the other day i was putting some clothes away and i noticed my kitty playing with a string

the string was from an attack alarm i have, and just then everything went into slow motion - my cat pulled on the string, the string came out, the alarm went off, the cat freaked out and ran off with the string on his paw! i chased the already freaking cat who became more panicked as i chased him eventually retrieving the string and acquiring a few wounds in the process! i eventually got the string thing back in and stopped the alarm but not without going partially deaf first!! fun day!

Hehe... made me laugh :-D

One morning I went to the Central Park Zoo, in Manhattan. As I left the Polar Bear tanks I walked down the path to continue, I heard some people laughing and turned to see what it was....

Here was this Polar Bear wedged in the corner of the wall and the glass, checking out all the people on the other side!

I guess they are just as curious about us, as we are about them! lol

There were so many people I couldn't get a better shot of him...

On the outtake below, people were pushing to have their picture taken in front of him...too funny!

I leave tomorrow morning, will catch up as I can...be well all, and happy shooting!

Explore!! Thank u my friends!

I was as my friend's house when she fed her turtle.... he looked for all the world as if he were dancing......

Not mine someone sent it to me. Made me laugh

When I was last home, Luke was fascinated by my daughters belly button (she is expecting her first baby in July) He was determined to push it back in....

And still no one crossed the street standing on their head.

False advertising!

Upside Down

I can't even remember where this was taken. Is that bad?

One of my favorite things about Sharon is she is really quick to laugh. Not just a ha ha, but a heart felt, deep infectious laugh. I have all kinds of shots that blurred up & down because I was laughing so hard. This was not a planned shot, just one of those moments. She was laughing at me yelling at her to stop making me laugh....... I should be a brat and submit this is the AARP magazine......(hehehehehehehehehe ) that would teach her!!

Not a great shot, but it was the best I got. Low light + 2 year old does not make a sharp photo :)

(Notice anything different?)

While I was shopping today, I walked by the boy's clothing area. When I walked by these mannequins I actually started laughing out loud and was talking about how funny they are - -mind you, I was alone!

A woman nearby kinda looked at me like I was crazy, so I decided to wait until she was gone before I acted crazier and took pictures of these funny mannequins.

These may very well be the funniest mannequins I've ever seen...

With envelope!!

On Friday night I was out shopping for a few little pressies for my friend Georgia who has just had her first sweet little baby boy last month... When I spotted this cute little outfit.

Not quite Georgia's cup of tea I don't think.. but I thought it was SOOO amusing! %-)

I imagine there are probably some parents out there who would just LOVE it.!

Kiss was the first concert I ever saw actually.. when I was about 15. I just HAD to take a photo... luckily I did actually have my camera on me at the time. I should have taken the whole rack, so you could get a better perspective of how tiny it is! But I felt a bit self conscious at the time... and yes I did get a few strange looks! LOL!!! %-)

I wanted to show this to Jainbow... cos it reminded me of the great T-Shirt that Tim got her for her birthday! I hope it brings a smile and a chuckle to you Jane like it did to me! %-)

This group of students were watching an outdoor show in China Town, Manchester when they started to take a group picture of themselves. I asked if they would like me to take their picture with their camera. They gave me thair camera ignored me and carried on watching the show. The shot I captured on their camera had them all on tiptoes trying to see the show. I handed it back to them then captured this shot of them looking at the shot I had just taken.

Day 324 (04.20.2011)

I know I posted the photo of the cardinal through my office window yesterday, but I couldn't help but post another one of my views today! It definitely cracked me up!

The weather was really bad with lots of wind and heavy rain and I glanced out at one time and caught this squirrel who was hanging on during a particular bad gust of wind. At first I thought the wind blew his tail that way (and maybe it did) but he seemed to enjoy having it as his own personal umbrella!

#Lovetober the fourth is all about laughter: "Made me Laugh". That memory box I was talking about? It has loads of cards, letters and lovely words from the wonderful people in my life, one of those cards came in the above envelope from my ex-boyfriend Rob. He used to come up with lots of ridiculous terms of "endearment" which made me laugh, including the one above! He is a great guy and I always, always think of him fondly.

one time i threw a sarah maclachlan cd out my car window because it was depressing me. i wish i did not do that.

Someone put these rhinos and elephant to bed at IKEA 😄

what can i say, this makes me laugh! :P

Some of you know that I do a tremendous amount of cemetery photos, the vast majority done with as much photograph skill as I can that day, and with respect for the dead and their families. Every now and then there will be one that really makes me laugh. I don't know if the family could not spell or if the stone carver could not, but I'm not laughing so much at the grammar and spelling as at the idea that there loved one lies there handy.

Handy for what? What would a long buried corpse be handy for? Anyway, the Surname was HANDY, and the other was just an inscription placed right above it. Some would say unfortunate placement, and some would say humorous placement.

Drove past this front garden yesterday and had to turn round and go back to take a photo. Just one of those things that makes me smile! ^_^ Cats are great!
