This was my St. Patrick's 2017 day look like... I spent the day finish up this awesome coat & took it for a nice walk around my neighborhood & had a lot of fun with it. Staple bound notebooks made with screenprinted covers and vintage papers. Gray endpapers and pages inside are cut from vintage Eaton typing paper. Red border label also made by me :-)

The covers of this book were salvaged from a vintage social studies schoolbook, with coarse, texturally rich brown cloth. The front cover is embossed sans serif type and iconic gray figures which could have been lifted from fascist propaganda.
The spine reinforcements are made from deep blue mulberry fiber paper. This fiber is a renewable resource.
The textblock is made from 60lb, bright white drawing paper. The paper has a good amount of tooth and can handle ink, pencil and many other media.
- 5.25" x 8.25" (13.5 cm x 21 cm)
- 160 pages.
- Bound with royal blue waxed Irish linen thread.
This coptic bound book opens completely flat, for ease of use.
[[ College Secretarial Practice ]]
The covers of this book were reclaimed from a vintage pink collar training book. In 1965, ambitious women were expected to aspire to secretarial jobs, and the most ambitious among them would go to college to get her Mrs.
The spine reinforcements are made from pages reused from the original text.
The first and last signatures of this book include an inter-office correspondence envelope, handy for keeping bits of ephemera.
The textblock is made from 80lb, bright white drawing paper. The paper has a good amount of tooth and can handle ink, pencil and many other media.
- 6" x 9.25" (15 cm x 23.5 cm)
- 160 pages of heavy 80lb paper.
- Bound with royal blue waxed Irish linen thread.
This coptic bound book opens completely flat, for ease of use.
