This was part of a DIY macro experiment where I used magnifying glass on the end of the lens so I could still use my kit 18-105mm as my in camera lens.
The result is really outstanding, I think, for a simple cheap office utility.

For my 50x50 project.
Strobist:
Pomegranate seeds placed on a glass desktop on top of printer paper for the white b/g.
Viv 285 camera right through printer paper, set to manual 1/4, triggered with Cactus V2s.
Pentax 360 shot from below desk, manual 1/8th triggered with Cactus V2s.
354/365 Getting a parcel or letter (as long as it's not a bill) is usually quite exciting especially this time of year. It's even better when it's got a glittery stamp that can be used for your 365! Inspired after seeing www.flickr.com/photos/robertdennisphoto/6540582251/in/pho... I had to have a go at the dummy macro shot and I'm really pleased with the results! Both taken with the 18-55mm kit lens with the frame on the right using the technique.
