Macro Monday Photowalk Textures
Taken at St Fagans National History Museum
The mill was built in 1760, but was extended to accommodate new machinery in the 19th century and continued in production until 1947. It was moved to the museum in 1949.

Macro Monday my entry this week . I thought I would be a little creative with some paper clips . Hope you like! HMM folks
My oldest possession, not sure of exact age although there is a printed date of 1798. A gift to my great, great grandfather in 1846, sadly both covers have become detached. See my first comment below for the records written inside.

First, I had to look for the translation of this unknown English word for me, as I'm a French mother tongue person 😄
Then, I was looking for something when my daughter arrived with a tea box and asked me what this "truc" (en français), on the lid was. In fact, it's a sort of tab, like the can's ones, through which you can only put two fingers. But the box can be be shut and re-opened easily without using this tab.
