This is a 17mm hole drilled through a fence post. The post stands in our yard and provides a pedestal for a bird house. In my quest to find an interesting hole to photograph for this weeks Macro Mondays theme I peeked through this one and, well, choice made. Lighting was provided by my cheap flash connected to the camera via cable and aimed at the opposite end of the hole. Happy Macro Mondays! Thank you to anyone that cares to stop here to look, like, and possibly comment.

I attempted some marbling of paint on paper this weekend, but wasn't very successful, so have resorted to the unimaginative paper coil.

Actually sweet... slices are clementine (size matters :-))

This magnet is a miniature (5 cm long) of the fountain situated at the entrance of Park Güell in Barcelona. This mosaic salamander or lizard, designed by Catalan artist Gaudi, has become a symbol of the city. It is also known as "El Drac", or "The Dragon".
