"Fly Me to the Moon"

This one-inch necklace pendant is a replica of NASA's Lunar Command Module used in the Apollo missions to the moon. It sat atop the massive Saturn V booster and this is all that was needed for the trip home. With July 20 marking 53 years since the first moon landing it seemed a fitting choice for todays theme.

Necklace is photographed inside a cactus flower.

The IPod measures 3 inches by 21/2.

Macro Mondays: Spiky

One of my attempts for the Macro Monday theme 'In a row'

I found that inserting a flower that cast a shadow but with small enough leaves to stay inside the illusary 'well' seemed to help create the sense of depth.

This shot is 1 of a 229 set taken today. Madness i tell you.
