My wife found Hibiscus tree discarded in a planter on the side of the road and brought it home a year or so ago. We nursed it through the winter in our sun room and put it out on our back patio this summer, It's done well in direct sunlight. This morning its first bloom popped out. Yay!!!

California Pics

Now let me welcome everybody to the wild, wild west

A state that's housed Ansel Adam's nest

The shot hits ya eardrum like a cannon ball to ya chest

We in that sunshine state with a bomb ass hype beat

While Europe an Australia asleep like a dead meat

I been in the game for ten years takin shots at Nature

Ever since Paparazzis was calling themselves Pro-grapher

Splash out for the perfect shot!

Now it’s 2010 and they bug me and HDR me in Photoshop

Flashguns popping to bring more color to the shot

It’s all good, from macromagic to hype texture landscape

Soon as I stepped on the scene

I see bloody popy fields screamin mean

Rendered like red paint daubs, petals catchin sunlight

Boost the color, enhance the highlights

HDR detests images look like invaded by termites

From Tokyo to Paris cityscapes and outdoor portraits

With all the skills and techniques tryin to turn the worst clouds

Into glorious sunrays

Long and hot summer days upon us,

Only in Cali we bathe and riot in the colorful flowers and beautiful backdrops

In L.A. we carryin a real DSLR not like a Chinese tourist with a Sony AlfaShot (that's right)

Say what you say

HDR is here to stay

So give me that bomb ball from Canon USA

Let me drive-by shootin the streets of L.A.

HDR where it's meant to be

From Ghosttown to Sacktown

The Bay Area and back down

Cali is where they put they HDR handbook down

Give me love!

Squeeze it squeeze it baby (Squeeze the shutta)

Lyrics inspired by Tupac's "California Love" song

Cannabis in Religion - Seeing the Light from Darkness

The sign of the cross, the crucifix, represented in its simplest form by a crossing of two lines at right angles, greatly resonates in both the East and the West, the introduction of Christianity.

Another symbol which has been connected with the cross is the ansated cross (ankh or crux ansata) of the ancient Egyptians, wrongly called the "ansated key of the Nile".

It often appears as a symbolic sign in the hands of the goddess Sekhet.

From the earliest times also it appears among the hieroglyphic signs symbolic of life or of the living, and was transliterated into Greek as Anse (Ansa).

As indicated by the name "Christianity", the focus of Christian theology is a belief in Jesus as the Messiah or Christ . The title "Messiah" comes from the Hebrew word מָשִׁיחַ (māšiáħ) meaning " the anointed one " or " King."

The Greek translation Χριστός (Christos) is the source of the English word Christ.

"Anointing" was common among kings of Israel. It was the sign and symbol of royalty.

The Greek title "Christ" is the translation of the Hebrew word Messiah, which in English becomes "The Anointed". The Messiah was recognized as such by his being anointed with the holy anointing oil.

So did Jesus use Marijuana?

As doubtful and controversial as the following hypothesis might first seem to the reader, I might as well boldly state my case right from the start: as a result of my research, either Jesus used marijuana / cannabis in the anointing oil or he was not the Christ by definition.

The very word "Christ", by the implication of its linguistic origins and true meaning, gives us the most profound evidence that Jesus did in fact use the same herb as his ancient semitic ancestors, and which is still used by people around the world for its enlightening and healing properties.

In addition, the ancient recipe for this anointing oil, recorded in the Old Testament book of Exodus (30: 22-23) included over nine pounds of flowering cannabis tops, Hebrew "kaneh bosm" extracted into a hind (about 6.5 litres) of olive oil, along with a variety of other herbs and spices.

The ancient chosen ones were literally drenched in this potent cannabis holy oil, some claimed to become "inspirited" and "elated" or rather "enlightened" by the Lord.

The insects in this order are extremely diverse in their size, shape and colour. They are ranging in size from 1 to 110 millimetres in length. They are found all over the world. There are 80,000 described species in 37 families.

The name Hemiptera means 'half wing'. The Hemiptera are called 'true' bugs because everyone - entomologists included - tend to call all insects 'bugs'. That is a loose term, whereas the true bugs are just those contained within the insect order Hemiptera. Insects in the order hemiptera have a particular structure of the front wings from which the order gets its name.

Geranium sanguineum, or Bloody Cranesbill, symbolizes rejuvenation, tenacity, and hidden strength. Amidst its leafy surroundings, it represents the resilience of life's journeys. These blooms remind us to find beauty and growth even in the most unexpected places.
