Spiky tall pines pining in the forest. Mistery and snow and missing persons. More than two years ago. Blue for Blue Monday. Most depressing day of the year for some.
I thought this was enough of a distinctive reflection to photograph, helped, of course, by the stillness!
Followed the 5km trail round Macclesfield Forest and found this stunning view at the top :) Can you spot the sheep? Clue: Zoom into the right side of the picture!
The Ian Curtis mural. Ian was the frontman of the band Joy Division.

A view out towards the Aldi store in Macclesfield as the sun rose. The spire of St Paul's church is in the background and the Lloyds Bank in the foreground. The mist gave nice layering so I thought I'd try this and see how it turned out.

We decided on a forest walk instead of a mountain this weekend. Macclesfield Forest looked interesting, but its definitely a lot more hilly compared to the local Delamere Forest!
Ended up walking up to Nessit Hill and back down to the car park which is about 5 miles. A pretty overcast day with a small window to fly the drone. Really enjoyable walk with the reward of a pot noodle at the end :)
A very cold winters day up high in the forest.
