Here's my new MacBook in front of my 2005FPW Dell LCD with iGuy on the loose!

My Brand new Macbook

Sexy new MacBook, so I can (I hope) stay online when I go to Stockholm in November. (Sorry for poor contrast -- in my mostly dim flat, with black countertops and mostly black furniture, it's surprisingly difficult to photograph black electronics. Go figure.)

A Bia pediu pra que eu colocasse fotos do MacBook Pro aqui no Flickr. A bateria da máquina acabou, então só tirei uma foto. Depois tiro mais.

This is what a MacBook looks like inside after it's been urinated on. Don't ask.

One of the hinges on my MacBook Air detached, and a crack appeared, all rather suddenly and with no apparent cause. When I took it to an Apple Store, I learned that because of the way the laptop is assembled, it would be necessary to replace the entire display to fix the problem. Initially, I was told that this costly repair would not be covered by the AppleCare extended warranty because it was judged accidental damage.

I investigated further and found out that other Airs have experienced the exact same hinge problem. Armed with this information, I went to another (smaller and less busy) Apple Store, where they immediately agreed to make the repair under AppleCare. My Air is now fixed, and I'm once again a happy Apple customer.

If you have an Air and it has broken in this way, let Apple know you're aware that this is a common problem and insist that it should be covered by warranty. And if you have an Air and it's still okay, consider not lifting and carrying it in one hand: someone suggests this is what leads to damage on the fragile hinge, and I think that's a reasonable theory.

Apple's next release after the MacBook Air - meet the MacBook Milano. I'd say it's byte size.

A deliciously dimunitive laptop.

A few shots of the new MacBook Air at the Illini Apple Center.

These have no post-processing, so some are a little sloppy.

My MacBook was discolored, so I send to Apple Service and have my panel replaced. So this is the NEW, WHITE, no-yellow-any-more MacBook!

This is my setup, my 6 month old Macbook, The desk is very old, took about a month to get everything on it. The speakers are attached to my Airport Express to the left of the desk.

This is my macbook themed in Star Trek style. My husband and I have been watching through star trek series. We went through Deep Space 9, now we're doing Next Generation and I always have my macbook available while we're watching.

It's the new MacBook Pro! OMGZ!

Sold my old MacBook 12 2015, but this year went all the way up.

Opted for the M7 1.3 with the 512 SSD early 2016

If you ask me if the price is logic?

No not at all, I see this machine as my little beauty.

I use the MacBook 12 essentially for configuring network hardware outside my office, and for that use is perfect.

It’s a little faster than my last year 12 inch.

For the price you could buy a better MacBook no doubt on that, but for the type of use I need for this MacBook, this is the perfect machine for me.

One purchase from the heart not from the mind.

Ram I removed from my macbook while upgrading to 2GB. Major corrosion on the memory, and moisture on the chips. I can only assume this is from condensation from the macbook getting cold while staying in my car overnight and then coming into the house or office.

Sony A7R + Leica 90mm f/2 APO Summicron-M, shot at f/5.6. Please see here for my general thoughts on how M lenses work with the Sony A7R.

Best seen on a MacBook Pro or other device with retina display.

Accurate capture of the colors, just perfect. Both images shot at f/2 at a local supermarket in the San Francisco Bay area.

The cover of my MacBook: a Speck cover with a circuit printout underneath. Over the glowing Apple I put one of the smaller Apple stickers that come with iPods. The circuit image is of an Apple keyboard I took apart to repair a few years back. The 3 layer mylar traces were very beautiful so I photographed many detailed shots. I took those shots and cleaned, straightened, excerpted and inversed in Photoshop. I have used these images for video, album covers, projections, cards, etc for my audio/art. See techdweeb.com/univid.html for a video example.
