This is my macbook themed in Star Trek style. My husband and I have been watching through star trek series. We went through Deep Space 9, now we're doing Next Generation and I always have my macbook available while we're watching.

Ram I removed from my macbook while upgrading to 2GB. Major corrosion on the memory, and moisture on the chips. I can only assume this is from condensation from the macbook getting cold while staying in my car overnight and then coming into the house or office.

Sold my old MacBook 12 2015, but this year went all the way up.
Opted for the M7 1.3 with the 512 SSD early 2016
If you ask me if the price is logic?
No not at all, I see this machine as my little beauty.
I use the MacBook 12 essentially for configuring network hardware outside my office, and for that use is perfect.
It’s a little faster than my last year 12 inch.
For the price you could buy a better MacBook no doubt on that, but for the type of use I need for this MacBook, this is the perfect machine for me.
One purchase from the heart not from the mind.
The cover of my MacBook: a Speck cover with a circuit printout underneath. Over the glowing Apple I put one of the smaller Apple stickers that come with iPods. The circuit image is of an Apple keyboard I took apart to repair a few years back. The 3 layer mylar traces were very beautiful so I photographed many detailed shots. I took those shots and cleaned, straightened, excerpted and inversed in Photoshop. I have used these images for video, album covers, projections, cards, etc for my audio/art. See techdweeb.com/univid.html for a video example.
So here it is - brand spankin' new MacBook Pro. It's a 2.2 GHz Santa Rosa model with 15" LED backlit display and 2 GB of RAM.
My death-satchel will happily carry an iPad (in a big case) plus my 11" MacBook Air. If you leave out the iPad, you could get all your power adapters and gadgetry in here with an Air, including bluetooth keyboard etc.
You can buy this bag on Amazon.co.uk for £60; it's this one (in the "Mud Brown" colour).

Higher-rez versions of the photos accompanying my review of the MacBook Air in the Sun-Times.
How thin is the MacBook Air? Fifty cents. Even the back edge -- the "thick" part -- is just $1.75.
