Elaborate architectural details of a typical Parisian building on Place Vendome, yes. But the interesting part of this shot is the mystery figure, half-hidden in the shadows, suspiciously watching the photographer. Clearly, security is top notch here.

The explanations were just theories that went around in circles and explained nothing. There is an ancient belief in Mexico that the butterflies are the souls of dead children. That explanation is much more poetic and beautiful than anything science can come up with.

Yes, please leave mystery alone, we need the mysterious and the magical. It is what makes life worth living <3

This photo was taken in my tiny urban backyard. Mystery and magic are everywhere if we have the eyes to see it.

Thank-you to all who take the time to comment on my photos, it is greatly appreciated.

This little abandoned house is full of mystery. Where did the previous occupants go? Why did they leave their car behind? Meanwhile as we ponder these questions, the house is slowly sinking into the ground...

Near the bottom of the falls another forceful jet of water shoots out to the left. Water must be plunging within a conduit of ice.

The creepy skin I am wearing by Go&See is hauntingly beautiful. The skin is washed in a pale white and darkness that is visible at the most opportune positions. I thought this was Queen Anne's Lace, but the flowers never developed into the typical Queen Anne's Lace flowers....so I don't have a clue what it is. If anyone knows what these are, please let me know!

UPDATE: I discovered this plant is called Daucus Pusillus. AKA American Wild Carrot, or Rattlesnake Weed.

Still an unknown variety...
