it's a shot in a crappy bathroom of the lodge where we had been swimming, but something about this just holds my heart.
maybe it's just her. the way she is still so much a little girl, and also a young lady, but still so carefree most of the time, and confident, and whole unto herself...
Note the "RDPIII" mark in the upper left corner. That is the mark for Fujichrome Provia 100f Professional film. Rather skillfully done, but the ebay scammer made the mistake of stealing one of my photos-he didn't know I'm searching ebay for interesting HK slides on a weekly basis. My advice to other slide collectors is to do a Google image search before you bid-it might save you from being scammed.

Right now: Shelby is super into Girl Scouts. We went to the Girl Scout store last week and she used her own money to buy this t-shirt. She wore it two days in a row (I washed it in between) and really wanted to wear it a third day (I said no). She’s growing her bangs out, so they are at an awkward length right now. If she doesn’t pin them back, they are in her eyes, but they aren’t quite long enough to really pull back. Getting through this is a challenge for both of us!

Processed this one a bit different. More warm tones since the sun went down and the light was slightly different than the other shots.
