I’ll give you one guess what’s behind this door. ;)

Oh, and I’m drinking the wine from my post earlier today. It’s not bad. (Exactly how someone described my photography in a recent conversation. Lmao)

Done for the The Gratitude Challenge over at The Award tree group.

I am grateful 'for the music' that throughout my life has humbled me as a player ("There's always a better guitar slinger just around the corner" ) and soothed and comforted as a listener, especially so during these crazy times we are all living through at the moment. The great healer...

Vinyl me please!

Vinyl gives superfans something tangible to showcase their love for an artist. It also gives them a chance to hear it without the compression of typical streaming bitrates. Good to see lots of Vinyl music stores in Shibuya.

I had a wonderful time walking around the city of Orillia this past Friday. All the strangers that I encountered on the street were super friendly and patient when I was taking photos (waiting for me to get my shot before walking past, for example). It’s a great feeling when the sun is shining and you feel inspired and connected to those around you. #lifeisgood

Features vintage sound equipment, musical instruments, and a large selection of vinyl LPs,cds, cassettes and posters. This is the Green St. location which opened in 1995. Their first store is close by on Grant St. and opened in 1985. Very cool place. San Francisco,Califorinia. 3.13.2016.

Taken at a dead mall in Northern Illinois, the logo from a long closed Sam Goody music store is a sad reminder of days gone by. Sam Goody had 800 stores in the US and UK in the 1980's. By the early 2000's, the digital revolution began taking down not only Sam Goody, but other mall staples like Musicland and Sun Coast Video. Today there is one Sam Goody left in the US....

Can you see the back wall? Neither can I. And that's why we're better than most any New York Record Store you'll find. Get out of the city, we have over 150,000 used CDs, DVDs and records in here.

In meinem Lieblings-Musik Store .. schaffen die Mädels es immer wieder, dass ich eine Gitarre kaufe, obwohl ich nicht Gitarre spiele .. 😎⁉

In my favorite music store... the girls always manage to get me to buy a guitar, even though I don't play the guitar... 😎⁉

Cliff, the coolest dude in South Philly...obviously. My son and I bumped into him when we were walking into this South Philly music store, and we ended up talking there on the sidewalk for about 45 minutes....about music, photography and just good living.

What says summer fun more to a kid than violin lessons? Aww...I wanted to go to math camp this year!

Keys on a piano covered in mud and warped from the 4 foot flood waters. I tried pushing several different keys and they just stuck down, nothing left to play.

In my favorite music store... I'm actually thinking about buying a drum kit... but I don't really know why!? !! 😂😂😂

Went to Melody Music today and bought a guitar for Carole and surprised her with her gift when she came home from work.

Templeton is a small rural town in North San Luis Obispo County. It does have a Main Street, and on that street you will find Matt's Music, Stage, and School. The owner, Matt Franscioni, has a Christmas tree outside his shop like no other I've ever seen. I've shown his shop here, and it stands out as much as the trees around it. The Matt's Music sign is right in front of the bottom of the Christmas tree. See the rest of the tree in the next photo on my photostream.

In case you'd like to see how they decorate this tree, they posted a video on their website made at their first annual tree-lighting ceremony. You can see it here: www.mattsmusicandmore.com/events?wix-vod-video-id=c7e920f...
