Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita or in Dutch "vliegenzwam" looks like another "petit four' ;-))

It's a bit crowded here ....

Always a joy to see all the differences between all kinds of mushrooms.

Unknown Mushroom species.

The other evening the back lawn was simply grass...During the night a gentle rain came that refreshed the air-good sleeping! The next morning, these dainty little mushrooms had just popped up and sprinkled the lawn...I rushed out to get a shot before the squirrels trampled them!

This picture I made at the Veluwezoom at Rheden.

When I first got my hands on a dslr.

Just as I thought we were skipping mushrooms this year - I found these in our garden today.

Also called Weeping Mary - Lacrymaria lacrymabunda.

Weeping because of the black, watery droplets that appear at the cap rim and on te edges of the gills when they are moist. The English name somehow seems particularly poignant when these mushrooms pop up to shed their tears beside gravestones cemeteries.

Amanita muscaria, commonly known as the fly agaric or fly amanita, is a mushroom and psychoactive basidiomycete fungus.

I noticed this one today growing in the same spot as the one I photographed in October. Being very close to a children's play area they tend to get kicked over!

Again when the mushrooms come up they do...Nature sprouting , spores exploding under the ground to produce magical mushrooms. You need to have rain and sunlight to make the mushrooms rise from earth

Found this guy, and many more, on a hike this last weekend. It is definitely mushroom season.

This was the first mushroom of the season that I saw. We were hiking in the wonderful Palatinate Forest close to the french border.

Spotted these baby mushrooms the other day while visiting a nearby arboretum. It was still early in the morning and there was a definite chill in the air, and ground was covered in dew.

Perfect Fall morning, if you ask me.

Seta (Macro)

These were so pretty , they where red when closed but when they opened up fully they turned a reddish orange. They had a glossy shine to them as well. So beautiful
