My wife took one look at this crazy photo and said, it doesn't even look real, it looks like a "Muppet". I just like this for some reason :)
This young Great Horned Owl watched me from above as it was just beginning to leave the nest - they always remind me of a muppet at this stage. So cute to watch.
Here is a couple of clips I put together of my favorite Muppet's Statler and Waldorf in the upper balcony up to no good. I'm sure there was sarcasm and wit involved as they were bobbing and preening.

Applause, applause, applause!
Welcome to the Muppet Show! Today we have a special guest, but first let's hear Rowlf with a new song, specially written for the occasion!
(voice from the side stage)
A song with a special effect
Rowlf: I need no special effects to warm your hearts!
(but maybe one to warm your piano?)

It's been ages since I watched the Muppets Show, but the one thing that stick to my mind was the opening O in the backdrop. This is only a quick and simple "see if it can be done" build, taking the picture actually took me longer than setting the stage.
Having a stage is Jan's fault, who made me aware of some Friends set with a theatre. I cannot say what ideas I had (if any) but none of them included a stage, so here is one. Now I need a balcony loge for the grumpy old men...
Toy Project Day 2490
The Muppets went to Treasure Island, so why not into the Middle Ages?
Unfortunately, the filming quickly becomes a mess, can you help Miss Piggy find all her 11 friends (Kermit, Swedish Chef, Fozzie Bear, Rowlf, Waldorf, Statler, Gonzo, Animal, Beaker, Janice & Dr. Bunsen Honeydew) who have sneaked into the scene?
Disclaimer: No Beakers were harmed during the making of this MOC.
This is my entry to Brickscalibur's "Where's Waldo?" category.

Pittsburgh’s baby owl, Muppet, has begun to branch out. Everyone was wondering would mom and dad would accept her after she was brought back after falling over 100 feet from her nest under the Panther Hollow Bridge?
But dad’s instincts took over and he found Muppet when she was calling out and he fed her. So it looks like for now it is one big happy owl family!!!!
THanks for all the likes and views !!!
Baby horned owl muppet smiles (yawns) as she sits in her tree. She looks healthy and happy since her return back to her original parents and nest since her fall a month ago.
Muppet and Squeek always together.
These birds were rescued as youngsters and took a shine to each other. After regaining their health they stayed with us and lived in their own house in the garden. The birds were allowed to fly each day with their wild cousins and could have left us at any time. They were always shut in when they returned in the afternoon so we knew they were safe overnight. Being born wild they would not have taken to an aviary. They both became fast and accurate flyers and were devoted to each other.
Simplemente porque me apetecía fotografiarlo y colgarlo. O era esta foto u otra donde salía en pelotas, y, creedme, os he hecho un favor.

PIGS AND FROGS IN SPAAAACE
I wanted to make a May the Fourth post, this came to me after trying to think of accurate characters to make. Much better imo. :)
I've done a similar shot before on a crop sensor and this is a revisit of the scene but with a slightly different composition. Thanks and have a great day!
Muppet, the baby owl that fell out of the tree, is getting stronger each day. She is starting to jump from branch to branch, which is really exciting to watch. Dad has also adopted her back into the family.
Thanks for the views and likes:-)
A muppet piece I did for the show The Lovers, The Dreamers, and Me - A Jim Henson Tribute Exhibition at Gallery Nucleus. I always loved all the different colors of the monsters when I was little and still do now.
