This is a picture of the high building of the 'University of Amsterdam' on Roeterseiland reflecting another part of the same building with an angle of 90 degrees in the late afternoon sun. The rhythm of alternating areas with more or less distortions ànd the soft focus make this a multidimensional layered picture with an organic feel.
At least it works for me that way.
Thrilled to have four photos, including this one, selected as Honorable Mentions in the Annual Mobile Photography Awards, in the categories Silhouette, Street Photography and Transportation. … Check out the amazing collection of all the winning photos:

Discussing The Peace of Nature and the Nature of Peace with my feathered friends Åse and Håvard over a cup tea ...
Moral Philosophy of Global Peace as a Supreme Ideal
Today, humankind is suffering from multidimensional crises such as terrorism,population-explosion,denial of human rights, economic inequality, racial discrimination, ideological extremism, religious intolerance, social injustice, ecological imbalance, consumerism, oppression of weak ... All are Peace-related issues and a matter of Ethics."Have you realised your role and your duties regarding Global Peace ?" They asked me ... Pause
Åse and Håvard have ... Us ? Pause ... Where are our United efforts ?
I felt embarrassed ... They had so much to teach me ... over a cup of tea and while awaiting the announcement of the Nobel Peace Prize ... They also knew the Preamble to the Constitution of UNESCO ...
"Since wars begin in the minds of men, it is in the minds of men that the defences of peace must be constructed ... "

"Imagine a multidimensional spider's web in the early morning covered with dew drops.
And every dew drop contains the reflection of all the other dew drops.
And, in each reflected dew drop, the reflections of all the other dew drops in that reflection.
And so ad infinitum.
That is the Buddhist conception of the universe in an image."

DOWNTOWN KITCHENER OUTDOOR MURAL
Artist: Trisha Abe (@trishaabe)
Location: Across from Kitchener City Hall
Medium: Acrylic paint on plywood
Trisha Abe is a painter, illustrator, and muralist based in Kitchener, Ontario. Abe’s dive into the world of visual arts was sudden and intense. She is heavily influenced by female portraiture and her work embraces the human form through minimalism and celebrates strong character, diversity, and feminine energy.
Abe aims to breakdown complex, multidimensional beings into their most basic elements. Her painted murals for a number of clients include: Shopify, Inkbox Toronto, Communitech, and the Cities of Kitchener and Waterloo.

Embrace your radiant splendor,
that multidimensional beauty and wisdom
that shines through your eyes,
that is danced in your gestures
and evoked in your words,
that is expressed in a thousand-and-one ways
through the Essence of You.
And may you live a long abundant and deeply blessed life so that we can delight in those rare treasures that are only yours to give,
jewels exquisitely revealed in the Fullness of Time.
I've always been fascinated with the Citibank building in Midtown. Such a huge and distinctive building sitting on top of architectural "stilts" is a feat of incredible engineering. It's hard to imagine the inconceivable weight of the tower sitting, very strategically, on what seems like proportionally small supports. This view is off 54th Street, behind the main facade of the tower.
After "tumbling" the image, those supports are not very distinct from the rest of the cascading volumes. Because of all the varying shapes, shadows, lit planes and volumes, I thought this location could use a good "tumbling" as an image.
With the preceding Times Square imagery being so complex and busy in terms of minute detailing ( lots of people and lots of fragmented planes ) I wanted the next image in the "Manhattan" series to be simpler, softer and more 'sculptural'. A softer less 'exciting' palette was called for too, I think. Some calm after the storm.

Music Link: "New Gods" - Jon Hassell, from his album "Maarifa Street". A wonderful piece in itself, with a broad audio picture, "New Gods" is a re-visiting of an older piece that Hassell did with Bluescreen, a techno/funk/jazz band, called "The Gods Must Be Crazy". That title, to follow the tread through the associative maze, is from the famous older film of the same title. The gentle loping pace of "New Gods" seemed to fit the mood I was seeking with this image ..... Laid back, big city cool, with just a whisper of the mystical.

A single Pano shot, montaged, with the main image untouched except for increased colour saturation, sharper contrast and the diminishing of white glare. This main piece sits more to the right of the image with treated, manipulated versions bordering and framing the outside of the total picture plane. 3 overlays of the original shot were placed near the edges.
The Pano-Sabotage technique facilitates both a western view out toward the Hudson river, on the left and on the right, a view looking north on the approach to "Hudson Yards" on ""The Highline.
The underlying "framing" edges in layers suggest the previous, rougher nature of this part of the city, some of which can still be seen a bit more to the east. Rusted metal and graffiti elements are hinted at the in the treatment of the layers that are 'disappearing' behind the main image, a picture of now and a possible view of the future.
Original shot was taken around 5-5:30, June 14, 2019.
Entered in "PANO-Vision's" "Best of the Year" contest.

I feel lucky to have captured this moment,it has a neat natural overlap / bleed-over /multidimensional sort of look to it.
hopeful & energised to be a cosmic being able to have a spectrum of multidimensional experiences. It reminds me of the beauty of all phases of the journey & just to let go, to the cosmic flow

The 2014 film Interstellar, directed by Christopher Nolan, tells the story of humanity's desperate attempt to survive in a future where Earth is slowly becoming uninhabitable. A devastating crop blight and environmental collapse are rendering the planet incapable of sustaining life.
Created with Midjourney AI engine. I have tried out the new V6, but as many of you am not happy how it turned out, so I will wait until the beta version comes out and the bugs fixed.

I am so often amazed by the blazing, natural intelligence exhibited by the animals that I encounter, as well as by their social, communicative and empathic abilities.
My family and I live behind a towering crest of open space covered with sage scrub, pacific madrones, manzanitas and legacy oaks, so we have many visitors.
Most electrifying, inches away outside our bedroom window, we heard the hot heaving growl of a California Mountain Lion, down from the ridge in cover of darkness to prowl for water these hot dry months.
Also... grinning night foxes, flower-top eating deers in their cabled graces, segacious and meticulous raccoons, and tree-leaping squirrels a-frolic....
A family of wild turkeys, who protect and shepherd their young, as do I; golden eagles, brown falcons, black and red-tail hawks, and owls, who spot my eyes as I arch back in marvel at their flight; immaculate blue herons croaking in the treetops at night; and a white egret, silent goddess of the evening creek bed....
And infinite spiders, no more magnificent than the deadly blood-jeweled black widow, a silent arachnid lioness who tenders her many young in strong-as-steel egg-sacs spun from an impossibly ancient belly.
We know of so many wonders... that cormorants can count to eight, that elephants tap messages over miles felt in their feet and trunks, that whales ferry their vast souls through the impossible depths in a matrix of continuous song, and that primates share so many of our traits, from the capacity for premeditated violence to love.
Still more miraculous are the languages and navigational senses of birds, bats, bees, so closely aligned with the Schumann Resonance—the beating pulse between the Earth's ionosphere and magnetized crust—energy that surrounds and flows through us all.
Must not whales, dolphins, elephants, and other mammals with craniums on par or far larger than our own, perceive light, energy and life-forces for which we have no means of cognition? More fantastic still, can you imagine lifeforms that are telepathic, retain memories of past lives, or have awareness of alternating dimensional realities?
The last of this dark mini-series that's using the falling dark of evening as a metaphor for the breaking up of a singularity of a world view that no longer serves. This small sequence also sought to positively give voice to the quantum world view as being of the "night" or the non-linearity - where the world of dreams for example, not following waking linearity, suggests a simultaneous multi-dimensionality.

THE LINES OF MY EARTH – SIXPENCE NONE THE RICHER
“We must return to our primordial state of beingness, who we truly are, put our fears and Ego aside, then rebuild our understanding of love upon sincere and sustainable human virtues.”
― Joseph Rain
I went into the forest to scream
I thought the trees would understand
the vibration shook their ancient roots
they cried in golden leaves that fell to ground
I felt they understood
and how it was for me
they did not ask me questions
their canopy of comfort sheltered me
I entrusted all my secrets
carved into the etched and textured bark
interwove my life-lines within the trace of theirs
combined our spirits in the dark
the night had fallen in the aftermath
once the echoes of my cries died down
the trees bled their sweet-honeyed sap of life
as I shed the shroud that held me down
freer now than I had ever been
I could fly with night owls way up high
and sit upon the tallest branches
to wish upon the star-lit sky
the pinnacle of all desire
is desirous of the need
to be at one with all the earth
to feel; to love; to bleed
the gamut of our mortal emotions
I ran from the first time I breathed
and the lessons I learned kept getting stronger
the faster I ran; the more I perceived
now I sit silently in the darkness
emptied of my constant self
the science of my religion
the knowledge implanted within my mind
from the ancestral sliver of inherited skelf
the patterns repeated over and over
down through the ages we tread
needless, egotistical behaviour
had become our buttered bread
sustaining our greed and hunger; our need to justify
never satisfying our deeper feelings
giving vent until our exhausted veins grow dry
there is nothing in the darkness
that is not present in the light
no need to fear what we cannot see
no need to flee; no need to blight
the perfect imperfections held
within our souls; without
the secrets only we can know
are the ones we want to shout
they are the ones that pin us fast
and stuck in perpetual motion
a hamster wheel; a merry-go-round
jump off; set free emotions
cathartic actions speak louder now
than lips sewn tight with silvered threads
of lies and secret, harboured desires;
of heavy thoughts and dreads
lighten our hearts and free our souls
to float above the ether
look down; around; this is all we have
this one moment that will not last forever
live it well; cherish this time
for the second it is borne to be, is the second it will depart
and may never be repeated like the silent notes
played in the rhythm between the beats of our ever-loving hearts.
