Recently transferred to Hadleigh along with four of its sisters and still wearing the original "Barbie" livery, First Essex 33401 VX54 MTV is seen passing Southend High School for Boys on Prittlewell Chase, Prittlewell whilst working route 25. Thursday 7th April 2021.

MTV asked me to illustrate two of their companies core values. The illustrations were used on MTV goods such as journals, posters and other accoutrements. See both illustrations here: tadcarpenter.com/blog/mtv-core-values/
I missed the January one due to being busy, but managed to get to Nottingham Heritage Vehicles for their March open day where they were, once again, doing runs to their vehicle storage compound in Bestwood. There were several buses I hadn't seen for quite a few years.

I was told several buildings across the river housed the studios of the iconic MTV channel - not sure which buildings exactly.

A closer look at 'that' crazy hanging building. Now through the zoom I could see reflections and get the impression that 3-story console of an office is clad in stainless steel or chrome-plated...

Mountain View Fire Fighters arrived on the scene of a house fire on Wortham Court in March and found a single home with active fire in a significant portion of the residence. A fire attack was initiated and within 5 minutes a 2nd alarm was called to bring additional resources and personnel to assist in fighting the fire. The fire did extend to one of the neighboring houses during the incident.
Residents who were home at the time of the incident all managed to self evacuate and there were no reported injuries. No cause or origin has been determined at this time and fire investigators are just beginning their investigation. During the incident Mutual Aid assistance was received from the Palo Alto Fire Department, Santa Clara County Fire Department, Santa Clara County Fire Associates, and the Mountain View Police Department.
Mountain View Engine 52 is (like all Mountain View Engines) a 2009 Pierce Quantum pumper.
