The last action of the day was our stop in the town of Rørvik. In the harbour of Rørvik, we once again had a meeting of Hurtigruten ship. This time, the MS Midnatsol, one of the most modern ships of Hurtigruten.
With hardly half an hour time, both parties step aboard each others ship and took a visit. In the end, I think, both parties had been very happy to be back on their own ship, according to the look on the faces. "That's a swimming hotel, not a ship", "Everything behind glass only, no chance to get the wind, directly into your face", "What's that? How can you take a trip on that historic thing?", "Where is the whirlpool?", "They are not honest with THESE cabines, are they?" and so on ... Home, is always the best!
Or as our guide said later this evening: "The MS Midnatsol is a very nice hotel, the MS Nordstjernen a very nice ship". Nothing to add to that!
