Op 25 november reed ex-NS mP 3024, Eurailscout BRT-08 'Jim' weer eens een rondje door ons land.
Na op de Hanzelijn te zijn gesignaleerd zou deze retour Amersfoort gaan over de Veluwe. Om 15.10 passeert het ETCS-meetvoertuig de Tintelersteeg in Nijkerk.
This unusual bus used to operate a shuttle service to Tinglewick railway station from various points in town, but this was withdrawn some years ago and it has recently been extracted from storage in the council yard, missing a wiper but otherwise still in good shape. It is a Mitsubishi Fuso MP Citybus, also known as a Non-Step Bus, the first Japanese model made by Creative Master Northcord, with some modifications to the livery.
Back from repaint into Megabus blue and gaining the registration ME10BUS in the process, former Kings Ferry (Latterly Stantons), MP Travel's Caetano Winner stands in the yard after returning from the painters.

Another Cold War weapon :D
During the Cold War, many various Nazi German weapons were redesigned and modernized. An example is the MP-9/51. The gun was designed after the German MP-34 and was chambered in 18x9mm parabellum.
Entered service in 1951, it was designed to replace older surplus SMGs that soldiers used in West Germany. It proved to be very accurate and controllable. However, sophisticated design and high quality increased production costs. As a result, only a limited amount made it into service.
