De mP 3028 is als sternet posttrein onderweg van Arnhem goederen naar Utrecht GE is nog maar net onderweg en passeert Arnhem Velperpoort op 12-7-1990. Deze mP was als een van weinige nog in de jarentachtig opschriften.

One of the shots I got of this train on a chase last month. Yes, there is an EMD tucked in at the back of the consist. Missabe Sub MP 14.
This low level manager was riding in the back seat of this Missouri Pacific train on the Baird Sub as the lead unit was occupied by a RFE in addition to the head end crew. The Road Foreman was on board as there was a business car behind the caboose drawbar on this summer day. MP442.6 on the signal mast would put us just west of the Santa Fe connection at Tecific, a few miles east of Sweetwater, TX. At this time this was an interdivisional crew district of 263 miles so on alternate days out of both terminals either the Fort Worth crew or the Big Spring crew would get the start and run thru the former division point of Baird, TX. And this was always a long run as most if not the entire Baird Subdivision was 40mph with the stick rail still in place. On the other hand, traffic was light as there was only 2 daily pair of trains east of Big Spring in addition to the daily with the Santa Fe east of Tecific.The only other traffic was a pair of tri-weekly locals, from Abilene east and west.

Na een tip ( waarvoor dank ! ) werd er spoorslag naar Amersfoort gereisd omdat daar de show van Crew 2454 gaande was.
Begin van de middag werd het materieel weer naar zijn vast plek gerangeerd.
We zien mP 3029, stalen D wagon, de diesel 2454, 2 keetwagens en achterop Sik 276 die hier de sleep duwde.
Crews are unloading ballast on the Missouri Pacific's Oklahoma Subdiv., the upgrades brought on by the new Elmendorf coal train contract from the SPRB. 5 years later 160 miles of this former KO&G was ripped out when the 1988 Katy acquisition made this route expendable as it hosted little or no industry. Loaded CSX coke from Clairton PA for Mittal screams down the NS and quickly rolls off the last few miles before the Plant. Today the power is gone, and a third main has been installed or being installed here.
Volvo B7RLE Wright Eclipse Commuter
Got a quick snap, whilst jumping of my 135 quickly, seen working for Stagecoach Manchester, on one of the school buses.
2021's driving account was opened with this device. Former Lothian Transport Volvo B7RLE, G16MPT, was utilised on the evening B52 service from Warrington to Omega, and is seen here running out to its start point in some stunning light on the first day of the new year.
Former Nottingham City Transport Scania N94UD, W22MPT (YN06TGX) has put an appearance in on the B52 Omega contract service this week.
It is seen here at Omega South waiting time prior to working the 14:20 back to Warrrington on the 14th April 2021.
Former Lothian Volvo B7RLE, G16MPT, originally SN58BYR, seen in the very last light of the day at Omega South on the evening of the first day of the new year.
Between Carlisle and Rothsay, at MP 200, a collection of drifts from the weekend storm are set aside as a pair of geeps hustle 15 cars to the ethanol plant in Fergus.
With the sun about to slip below the skyline the sky glows with the last rays of sunlight as the classic old SP cantilever signal bridge carries on its duties protecting the Sandcut cross-over. One day soon the sun will set on all the remaining searchlight signals, taking with them the last traces of the Espee and Santa Fe era on the mountain.

Empty coal hoppers from Sherco in Becker, Minnesota to the Absaloka Mine approach a section of jointed rail at the site of a derailment at milepost 195 of the BNSF Staples Subdivision between Perham and Frazee. The casualties of the derailment align the mainline. Other autoracks that were spared sit in Detroit Lakes.

September 2020 was when W17 gave up the ghost. A fire caused by a faulty alternator destroyed the bus in a matter of minutes.
It is seen here in the yard on the morning after the fateful blaze.
The Volvo B7RLE / Wright Commuter, has now gained a blue based livery and the registration W17MPT, previously carried by a former East Yorkshire Volvo B10BLE.
The latest vehicle to join the MP Travel fleet is this former Stagecoach Bluebird Volvo B7RLE / Wright Commuter.
Numbered 21201 when with Stagecoach, it will take the registration W17MPT prior to entering service here, that registration previously being carried by a former East Yorkshire ALX300 bodied Volvo B10BLE.
After a short layover in Shebrooke, the Orford Express is heading back west to its homebase of Magog, with a sold-out train in tow. Pushing on the rear is M420TR OEXX 26 as the train passes MP 74 of CMQ's Shebrooke Sub.
Former Lothian Volvo B7RLE, G15MPT, is prepared for repaint into MP Travel livery at the Moore base.
