I'm starting to repeat myself ... I can't resist the natural frame of a streetcar ... forgive me?
A really nice Bench-leg buck on a foggy day. For those who may not know, a "bench-leg" is a cross between a mule deer and a black-tailed deer and generally is found on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains.
Please take a look here:
It"s a group by admin invite only.

"the department considers all options open, and invites those present at the scene to share clues, photos and films"
“I took a breath and let it go
and suddenly the air was crisper
and my lungs lighter
and suddenly
there was him
saying my name
in different ways
and I catch myself throwing glances in the mirror,
seeing someone I don’t know
quite yet
but I can’t wait to,
and that is the start of everything.”

this is the small train station of my home town. Long exposure of moving trains. Wish you all a nice weekend.
Mandarinente
Mandarin duck
The male mandarin duck fascinates with its colorful feathers.
Compared to other ducks, mandarins are shy birds, preferring to seek cover under trees such as overhanging willows, and form smaller flocks, but may become bolder as a result of becoming tame from frequent interaction with humans.
During 2 weeks, I tried to watch some duck-couples in a little lake nearby my home.

Another from the archives.
Taken just south of Berwick Upon Tweed. Can't get rid of the purple cast in the skies so desaturated the sky slightly.
100 seconds at F11 with B&W ten stop and Lee 0.9 ND filter.
Going to miss a corking sunset here tonight. The sunsets at about 8-15 so can see it lining up for a good one
Have a good weekend and thanks for stopping by.

Saunders' Case Moth (Metura elongatus) larva male
Spotted crossing the footpath (sidewalk) as I walked down to the shops this morning. Looking for a tree or wooden fence to attach itself to.
Case moths spend most of their lives as caterpillars, the larval stage, which may last for up to 1 or 2 years in some species. Once constructed, the female caterpillars never leave their cases.
Of course I didn't have the camera with me so a shot with the phone camera.
This was taken from a moving train! Its a view in the south of the Lake District. I was on my way to Edinburgh! Its something I've fancied trying for a while but don't get the chance very often. I think my phone handled it fairly well considering the delay it has between tapping the button and taking the photo.
