One from Saturday in the mountains taken with the 70-200mm. Summits on display starting with the closest in the shadows: Sron na Creise, Stob na Doire with a little light hitting the top, Stob na Broige basking in full light and Bidean nam Bian looming in the murk, centre frame, away in the distance. I think I've got that right!

If you go to Iceland, I think this is one of the 'must take' photos :-)
Very nice spot, would have liked to stay longer on this incredible island
Mountain peaks at Grand Teton National Park reflecting in the Snake River. A beautiful place to hike, although I was on the constant lookout for bears!
i was struggling yesterday for motivation, i dont know why but i was. so this is just a handheld shot from the car.
Friends, I have been very busy these days before departing for another long break to the mountain....I'm sure you all will miss me as I would surely miss you all...shall be back sometime in early next month...till then enjoy a dramatic sunset over Tso Kar mountains in Ladakh Himalayas, India
It rained a couple days before our arrival. Must have been an exciting event in this valley that gets no more than 3 or 4 inches of rain a year. Luckily for us, shallow pools of water reflected the Panamint Mountains.
Happy Slider Sunday!
Covered with snow mountain tops, that are part from the longest mountain chain in Bulgaria - Stara planina!
The North has become a kind of drug for me, if I don’t go there for a long time, then it starts to break me down. Therefore, when it was a long weekend, I didn’t think much, packed my things and went to the mountains. Although I understood that there was nothing special to shoot there in winter, this did not stop me. I had a wonderful weekend, riding a snowmobile, sleeping and sometimes going out to shoot the sunrise. Here is the result of one of these outings.

Far over the misty mountains cold
To dungeons deep and caverns old
We must away ere break of day
To seek the pale enchanted gold.

Another one from my trip to the Canadian Rockys. Stunning road trip, hope to go back one day with familly .
“May you live every day of your life”
-- Jonathan Swift
A family photo turned motivational poster after I decided to pair it with the quote from Jonathan Swift above. The original title, “Reefs on Top”, was discarded as too obscure, confusing and self-centered. But even though it does not matter who are the two tiny figures on the edge of almost 1,500m (4,500ft) cliff for anybody except for us, this shot and day were special. It took us good 4 hours to hike and scramble from the parking lot at 300m above the sea/fjord level to this point. There was mud, loose and slippery rocks and old snow on the way up, so we were happy we could make it. But that did not mean we “conquered” the mountain, no. We were humbled by being enveloped in the cloud which only for fleeting moments allowed us to catch a glimpse of what would have been a spectacular view ahead and below. In the end, we did not regret it. It was an experience we will cherish for many years to come – and it was a day we lived fully.
