The title of this picture was inspired by the ancient Tibetan

shamanic ''Soul-Calling'' - ritual, which was performed to summon lost souls back to the place or body, in/to which they naturally belong.

Thank you to each of you beautiful souls for the attention and support through your honestly spoken words and opening yourself up to what this picture conveys. ❤ I hope it will keep to inspire and heal everyone who is in need - especially those who feel burdened by dark energies.

( Natural Antidepressant II ) 🍃

May all beings be as free from the reasons of suffering as possible.

May we live in harmony and compassion, in deepest respect

and appreciation for the sacredness of life, nature and all beings.

(version II)

Branches of light reaching gently through the veils,

a warm and loving embrace of eternity waking,

soothing the sleeper's crystalline soul.

木霊 / 木魂

In Japanese mythology, the so-called Kodama are nature spirits that reside in trees. ( Not every tree is inhabited by a Kodama)

It is said that they protect and watch over the forest and the trees, as part of the family of kami - the deities of nature and the universe.

Recollecting the scattered memory of a long forgotten shaman's lore.

They lie in the trees' mumble as the winds' whisper..

O how how long lost and forgotten..

and scattered

just like us.

( ... from years ago )

On my way from Sumner Washington yesterday to Reno Nevada this morning. I cut across from I-5 near the town of Mount Shasta, CA taking CA-89 & CA-44 coming out in Susanville, CA where I spent last night. Back to this picture, I wanted to take some pictures along the way but nothing was catching my eye, at least nothing that also had a place to park. Finally I found a promising place to pull over, and decided to hike down into the small valley off to my right and see what I could find. I've finally given up on cowboy boots and hiking, wasn't working. A month ago I bought a pair of Asolo hiking boots, and what a difference. My new balance, confidence, and ease on rocks, and loose ground has made it so much easier to get further away from the truck. On this hike down and back up out of the valley, I ended up walking in some deep snow, especially towards the bottom. Never could have made it with my leather soled cowboy boots. Getting some much needed exercise as well as hopefully some nice pictures.

My mom took a picture of me with my cowboy boots photographing Little Cottonwood Creek. Getting down there was not easy then, but will be a snap with the Asolo's.
