Here's my second attempt at rendering images to give it that Instagram-feel. I must say, I'm not a big fan of Instagram, especially as it forces a square crop (I don't usually like to crop), but sometimes, the tanned-look it gives to images can be quite nice...
This image was taken yesterday afternoon. We decided to go walk into town after school, to get a bite to eat, In the end, we got ourselves some fish n' chips! mmmMMMmm!

I've seen this pigeon before at the waterfront, but usually from a distance. it appears so mottled that it really stands out from the crowd! At Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland.
A little group of trees that caught my eye. Not sure "motley crew" works for trees but you know what I mean ...
As always, my genuine thanks for taking the time to look and for any and all opinions you may choose to express :)
Contemplative times on Crewe station's platform 11.
This incarnation of the station was built in 1867, but maintaining the Victorian edifice is a never-ending (and expensive) task - no surprise some bits are of rather more recent vintage.

King Parrot male (Alisterus scapularis) is still juvenile so his head, neck and shoulders have not turned red. He is also disobedient or illiterate because he's not permitted to park himself there. On the edge of the rainforest at O'Reilly's in the southern Gold Coast hinterland.

Nice surprise to see the mottled marsh harrier from Westhay turn up at Catcott today. Still a long way off, so a big crop, but my best shot showing the detail to date.
A motley crew of feral goats in the Moffat Hills. This is the closest I've ever got to these fellows on the Moffat hills. Me friend not foe I told them.
Another go at that 'pie balled' Marsh harrier at Westhay... Again another massive crop, but showing the wing patterns better this time...
