Tranquil precious moments
Venice lagoon on a beautiful quiet and calm march morning. A lovely soft hazy light made for almost perfect conditions.
In my experience this almost never happens (well for me anyway)
That trip there was for me a little stressful as I was convinced that these conditions would or could not last.

I have been doing a lot of traveling lately. Getting up early to begin my drive at sunrise and coming home at sunset. For some, the driving would seem tedious. I tend to see it differently, as I am getting to witness the most beautiful landscapes and light each day! This was a photo I took from the driver's side window last week with my little point and shoot camera on my way to work. It just goes to show that you don't need a fancy camera or a perfect vantage point to get an interesting photograph. So now I am off again at sunrise - will check your streams at sunset!

update; ....... it's getting ridiculous ;-)) never had so many views on a single photo, 4669 and counting. plus 132 favs. (on my stream pretty exeptional that is)
...... just a few extra hours along the road, 6482 vws & 168 fvs. my ohh my !

i think the journey has ended; 12117 vws 259 fvs, lights out engine off.

Dieses Bild mag ich besonders gern, es entstand ganz spontan. Wir waren auf dem Weg zu anderen Spots, aber als wir diese wunderschöne Lichtstimmung sahen suchten wir eine Stelle zum Halten. Es war zwar nicht ganz einfach irgendwo zu halten da der Schnee die Straßen sehr verengte und man Angst haben musste dass man nicht mehr weg kommt..... Wir haben eine Einfahrt gefunden und mussten noch ein Stück zurück gehen, was sich aber für mich sehr gelohnt hat.
