Mom says to eat your vegetables! Yes, bears are omnivores. About 70 percent of their diet comes from fruit and vegetation. Being one of the world's biggest predators doesn't exempt you from eating your greens!

my mom returns after being away 4 months..i don't care who reads this, she was the only one that accepted me..i am a girl and she is a gurl..still my mom..and I will love her always

I've been thinking about 'young' moms since Hannah's dear post. And then I happened upon this photo today, of my mom and I. She was 21. The stories of our mothers are so tender, aren't they?

I shall never forget my mother, for it was she who planted and nurtured the first seeds of good within me. She opened my heart to the lasting impressions of nature; she awakened my understanding and extended my horizon and her percepts exerted an everlasting influence upon the course of my life. (Immanuel Kant)

"Cat Mom" - the largest cat mural in Łódź, decorates the wall of the "Cat Mom" foundation on Pryncypalna Str.

The author Dominik Jach showed here various characters from the era - from a cat princess, through a jester-player, to a one-eyed pirate. All these cats with human features gather at the foot of a wooden manor house. There is a cobbled floor, stalls and a Prussian wall on the buildings. Łódź, Poland

This is a repost for my mom, who is going through surgery today. I'm sending lots of love and good vibes her way, and hope she has a speedy recovery. Moms rule. Especially this one.

My mother died last July at the age of 83. So this is the first Mother's Day without her. A day doesn't go by that I don't think about her. So to my mom, and to all moms, Happy Mother's Day.

Hypopyrrhus pyrohypogaster

(Red-bellied Grackle / Cacique candela)

The Red-bellied Grackle is a distinctive rare blackbird of cloud forest in the Colombian Andes. It is large, long-tailed, and heavy-billed with a bright red belly and otherwise glossy black plumage. Red-bellied Grackles moves through the forest in groups, giving a variety of calls. While it has been recorded from all three ranges of the Andes in Colombia, contemporary localities are few.

I enhanced the color on these 2 pictures because they were a bit yellow. It took me awhile to decide if I wanted to do it because I kinda like the way old pictures look. But you can see more with it enhanced.

This morning she found her way to leave life.

It was my mom who asked me once why I did not share my pictures with others. She was a fan of mine, though she found my beginnings so terrible.

She had an eye for the beautiful moments and that's how she lived her life. I see you in my dreams, Mom ;-))

“Say to yourself, I am perfect, the way I am. Say to yourself, I am beautiful the way I am. Say to yourself, those who do not accept me the way I am, do not deserve me in their life.”

Here I was trying to take a picture of my beautiful daughter (mom-to-be) who has always loved being in front of the camera. But Sunday it was a firm "NO".

This reminded me of the days when she was little. Actually made me laugh but she was serious.

My mother, my wife, my daughter. Beautiful smiles all around :)

This is my dear Mother in law, Jean.

She invites me to attend the Temple with her often. She's a wonderful lady and I am blessed to know her.

I really never get tired of this tree

It has been here forever

In all my life

And beyond

It has seen so many ships, boats, yachts, sailingboats, oilrigs passing by

All kinds of weather

And indeed many sunsets

So here it is again

It's a pine btw

Queria poder traduzir todo esse sentimento, mas só a gente sabe, só a gente sente e não dá pra ser compartilhado com mais ninguém. Obrigada por tudo! AMO MUITO VOCÊ! 💗👩‍❤️‍👩

My mom's new haircut.

My mom is a woman filled with altruism. She is a life long learner, cat lady extraordinaire. My mom is the type of person who grows a garden and then doesn't get angry at the little bunnies who eat her vegetables. My mom keeps more potatoes than Agnes Varda has in her art exhibits. My mom loves neuroscience. She is not afraid of spiders or snakes and would rather sleep in the same bed as a Yūrei than suffer one more day with Trump as president. My mom has taken up yoga and tai chi late in life. She is a fan of all art. My mom has three furbabies that she loves dearly. All her cats have been named after monsters.

My mom is also an artist (photographer and drawer)

I'm sure I'm forgetting something....she is a very complex human.

Happy Birthday, Mom!

I played around with the photo alittle. Wanted to highlight mom and daughter.

The best days in 3rd grade were the days Mom had warm cookies and cold milk waiting for me when I got home from school. I'd walk the 3 blocks from Short Hills Grade school on Hobart Avenue to 30 Haddonfield Road. Home Sweet Home, especially when there were cookies and Mom waiting for me with a big hug and a kiss.

I made these for Ronnie and her children. With all the fires in Cali, they're gonna need some warm cookies and milk when they get home.

because tuesday better bring good news.

I finally found this photo of my mother who passed away in 1986 !!! This photo has been taken in Ain Saadé ( Maten )in Mont Lebanon. The photographer is unknown ,i never bother to ask her who took that shot for her ( big mistake ) ,curiosity kills me sometimes !!! LOL Her dog name was Simplé !!!

The original is black & white, i made few versions but i like this one more than others !!!

I used to give these glass ornaments to my mom every year for X-Myass. She HATED them, and actually boxed them up and sent them back. I think they're pretty cool. She was a good ol' gal though. I miss her.

Trying out some macro photos in the garden.

Seven months ago today my mom died, and today we installed her memorial plaque at the Acosta-Rua Center for Caring. It's on a bench facing the lake, with the same view that she always had from the porch where she would sit, smoke, write in her journal, and watch the world in her five months in hospice. I don't think it was coincidence that Alicia, her "angel nurse," happened to stay late and caught me just as I arrived, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to stand there with me as we watched the plaque get installed.

Mom photo Bombing this shot.

I love to go see the wild horses of Sand Wash Basin. Here we captured a fairly new baby with her mom
