Museu de disseny
The design museum, which opened in 2014, houses 70,000 objects from five centuries, giving visitors a wide-ranging overview of the history of design in Catalonia and Spain. The collection comes from smaller museums of decorative arts, ceramics, textiles, fashion and graphics.
The Museu del Disseny de Barcelona is situated at the Placa de les Glories in the district of Poble Nou in the north-east of Barcelona. It was opened in 2014 and was the result of a merger of different existing museums for applied art, such as the Museum of Ceramics, the Textile Museum and the Museum of Graphic Design.
The striking building at the edge of the Placa de les Glories is right next to the Torre Agbar which can be seen from afar. This was the beginning of the redesign of a formerly cheerless traffic junction in Barcelona. The ambitious project was designed and executed by the renowned architect's office MBM from Barcelona, namely the architects Josep Martorell and Oriol Bohigas, David Mackay, Oriol Capdevila and Francesc Gual. Work began in 2009 and the building was already finished in 2013.

Ok so I forgot to change the WB ! But thought the blue tone added to the feeling of freezing - out at 7am on a Sun in dressing gown for MM frozen theme!
I noticed there were no birds in the yard and, suspecting a hawk in the vicinity, I sneaked out the door, camera in hand, only to find this brazen thief, calmly enjoying a mid day salad, right in my driveway by the steps.
This the third series of my experiences with 35 mm Bergger Pancro400 film.
Based on the two preceding trials, I decided to expose again the film for 320 ISO , and to develop again in Tetenal "Ultrafin"but at the 1+10 dilution for 13min instead of 1+4.
The results are still problematic with a sort of irregular blur appearing in the support. This blur is very annoying and ruins even certain views.
The last thing I would try next, is to expose the film for 200 ISO and to develop in the same condition as in Feb. 2022 using Ilford Ilosol 1+9 for 8 min or so.
For shooting, I used the same equipment : my Topcon Super D (produced in Tokyo, year 1972) and it normal lens Tokyo Kogaku RE Auto Topcor 1:1.8 f=58 mm for exposures.
Expositions were determined either using either the camera reading or my Autometer III Minolta lightmeter with its 10° viewfinder for selective measurements.

After process the film was digitalized using a Sony A7 body and a Minolta Slide Duplicator with a Minolta Auto Bellows III with a lens Minolta Bellow Macro Rokkor 50mm f/3.5.
About the camera: Tokyo Kogaku company (Topcon) produced SLR camera's and lenses until 1976 before giving up producing camera. The company continued its activities in opticals and still exists today for medical (ophthalmology) instruments and topography.
The Topcon SLR's were considered as particularly reliable, constructeur as the best scientific instruments of that time. The "Super D" has a exchangeable finders and could be motorized without modifications making them direct competitors of the Nikon F's (Nikon F2 at this time en 1972).
The camera was sold to me in March 2022 with the normal lens Tokyo Kogaku RE Auto Topcor 1:1.8 f=58 mm and a Canon bag to host the camera. The photometric system is functional and uses a CdS located on reflex mirror as the Miranda EE.
Appareil compact 35 mm fabriqué en Chine dans les années 1990. Pas de réglage si ce n'est la sensibilité du film 100/200 et 400 Asa. Fixe focus. Film 135, Flash embrayable avec témoin et 2 piles LR 06. Moteur.
Creamiest Lime Cream Meringue Pie
I didn't feel like making the meringue. Still good!
However, don't be as stupid as I was and think that if you're low on butter you can just blend in ghee. Totally ain't the same. If you don't have 2.5 sticks of butter, I think it's okay to use less. Pie tastes a little funny due to the ghee, although not to the point where I don't want to eat it. I would also add more ginger next time, as I couldn't taste much of it. Otherwise, texture is super creamy.
