SkyUp Airlines Boeing 737-8H6 UR-SQB landing at Malta International Airport (LMML) on runway 13 from Kyiv Boryspil International Airport (UKBB). A chartered flight was called to repatriate Ukrainian nationals currently stranded in Malta due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. ✈️📷

The aircraft was built in 2001 and carried the test reg. N1786B. It was delivered as OK-TVA to Travel Service on 14-6-2001.

Later transferred to Travel Service Slovakia as OM-TVA on 15-4-2010.

Jet2 took delivery as G-GDFS on 9-5-2014.

28-4-2019 - Air Carnival (Elix Aviation Capital), ATR-72-212A.

 

An extremely rare aircraft in Malta! It arrived the previous evening, ready for its turn in the Aviation Cosmetics (ACM) hangar behind.

 

This ATR was the only aircraft in the fleet of this now defunct Indian carrier.

The aircraft was built in 2007 and carried the test reg. F-WWEF. It was originally delivered as VT-KAN to Kingfisher Airlines on 15-12-2007.

After Kingfisher went into administration, the aircraft was passed back to the leasing company (Investec) as M-IBAI on 14-12-2013.

On 21-7-2015 it was passed to Elix Aviation Capital and then leased out to Air Carnival as VT-CMA on 27-4-2016.

The aircraft didn't spend long in service with Air Carnival as on 1-5-2017 it was returned to Elix Aviation Capital as 2-SWKE and placed into storage.

The aircraft arrived in Malta on 27-4-2019 for a repaint to white, before heading off to storage at Francazal in France.

As of 8-6-2019, the aircraft was in service with Sky Express as SX-NIV.

Arriving from Bodrum. Landed long and missed the turning forcing a following Ryanair to overshoot.

New Network Rail MLA wagons in the yard at Eastleigh. Wascosa is the leasing company. These low sided wagons will replace the Coalfish.
