On my way home from a meeting last night, about midnight. I had no tripod and were slightly shaking from a huge overdose of coffee, so someones waste bin was used to steady the camera. Not quite ideal, and I didn't dare "borrow it" and carry it over to the bridge to get a better composition, so it is what it is.

It was great cold night as a change to the rainy days we have had far too many of lately. There is a thin mist floating in from the fjord over the fields.

The sun rises over the misty Warwickshire countryside with one or two faint aircraft trails high it the sky above.

Groundskeeper is mowing the tee box in the early morning mist of Lake Otsego at Leatherstocking Golf Course, Cooperstown, New York. It was 47 degrees F and I was playing golf and loving it .

Walking down the River Severn in Ironbridge as the mist was lifting and the suns rays were casting gorgeous light and shadow through the trees, in 20 mins it was all gone

Misty is a ragdoll cat whose whole existence revolves around food. She was looking longily at some birds when I took this shot!

Una scena spettacolare, resa ancor più suggestiva dalla nebbia. I gabbiani in volo erano in realtà sul molo, belli comodi. È stata una mia idea "lanciarli" in volo così da animare la scena. Il ruolo magico e surreale che ha avuto la nebbia è stato fondamentale!!

I moved three days ago and this morning I went for an exploration along the river and up the hillside. It was a beautiful day after a very foggy start.

I was not prepared for what I found when I walked along a less beaten track! These are "just" autumn grasses, way past their prime, covered in the glory of a misty morning and the sunshine. No palace could ever be more splendid!
