I was playing around with some of the settings in my camera's menu and accidentally turned on multiple exposures.
Didn't realize it until I went to my son and daughter-in-law's place a few days later for a "Tea, Pumpkin Carving and Games" party. My first 3 shots got combined into one triple exposure. Kind of a ghostly image, just in time for Halloween.
Sometimes, mistakes can make for an interesting image.
I'm not sure where the green tint came from so I can't really call it selective coloring. But I like it.

Like when shooting in direct sunlight, then walking into the shade and forgetting to change your camera settings. But, occasionally it works out. It just might take a little more post-processing than usual.

A new poster in a local shop window advertising local trades and obviously the photographer - A pity about the spelling mistake. (Glad it wasn't my work).
This guy pointed out the mistake and was kind enough to let me take his photograph.

I took this three years ago on my first attempt to find Wallace`s Hut
I skied 20 klms and hiked about the same distance in soft snow
The mistake happened at Langford Gap when I got on the Aqueduct they didn`t tell me I had to take the west and not the east
I returned to the scene to find it well sign posted on my recent roadtrip
During winter the Bogong High Plains Road is closed at Falls Creek Ski Resort and somewhere down the Omeo end and it used as a cross country ski area

Well, the result here is no mistake - but it is due to one.
This is the central, octagonal tower as seen from the interior of Ely cathedral. It's current look is due to a collapse to the tower structure in 1322, probably due to building works in the vicinity. The tower dated to Norman times (work on the cathedral we see today began in 1083) and the tower was not so much completely replaced as re-styled to its current, quite eye-catching Gothic look.

For some reason, this and a couple of other pics came out really dark and grainy (I probably screwed up a setting or two again). But, instead of trying to fix it or even trash the pic, I decided to go with it.

I thought you were mine and that was the biggest mistake of thought but I was so wrong, the actual mistake was listening to the thought of heart which was mindless!
Mentioned this week's theme to my wife, on coming back from shopping this is what she had bought...... Creamy and Cute for sure.... My only mistake after the photo shoot, was eating it in one go...... Far too sweet!
Oops, forgot to change my camera's settings after walking out of deep shade into bright sunlight. Still, I kinda like the way it came out.

No mistakes were really made, we were travelling around the gorgeous areas in Bellisseria! We made a pit stop by 1 of the boat shacks. I love those things! ScenScen is a good driver. (totally paid me to say that)
Mt. Baker is lit up by a full moon from Huntoon Point. This photo is straight from the camera. No edits, no cropping, no color enhancement. (Most of my photos come like that anyway).
It took 5 or 6 tries to get the focus correct. I did not get the reflection to show up, but sometimes a mistake turns out better than the original plan!
