Definitely one of my favorite falls to shoot. Haven't been there since I returned to Oregon. Just can't wait for the greens to start popping!
For this image, I adjusted contrast, performed selective dodging and burning, sharpening and that's it! No saturation applied at all. I'm really liking the use of levels/curves to control saturation. Keeps the image cleaner and more usable for large prints!
I like this comp as it shows the Falls in its entirety. Wonder what you folks think..

Miss Suzette is celebrating Barbie by borrowing her vintage dress. She is also borrowing sunglasses - I think Sindy. I got the dress in the same lot as the knits and slacks I posted Barbie wearing last week. Treasures!!

Miss Mini my sweetest Sparrow :-). She simply hates the camera. so these photos are not the best. but she is marvelous. little cute baby in beige :-).
she loves to sing together with Francesco, but they are not the best friends ever if being outside of the cages. so I have to watch her movements carefully 'cause she can bite Francesco. she seems to be kinda jealous type :-) while Francesco and Mini are in their cages they become the best friends, talk to each other, sing together :-)

Apparently, close to the Churchill airport Miss Piggy ran out of fuel. The pilot crash-landed the plane successfully. The plane was named Miss Piggy as it had a reputation of bringing in large amounts of supplies to the port of Churchill located on the Hudson Bay in northern Manitoba.
I will always miss the scent of the northern lilac, which I grew up savoring, but the ‘miss kim’ has its own lovely aroma.

Eccoci giunti all'ultima tappa del concorso Miss Italian Fashion 2009, organizzato da Miss Katiuscia Vollmar. Nella splendida cornice della sim di prossima apertura, ModaSL, si svolgerà la finale del concorso che ha visto sfidarsi Modelle a Stiliste a colpi di lussuosi abiti e sgargianti abbinamenti glamour. Questa domenica una giuria d'eccezione proclamerà quindi la vincitrice, e poi tutti a festeggiare al Fashion Cafè della nuova sim ModaSL, punto di riferimento internazionale di chi fa Moda su Second Life.
Ma qual è il progetto dietro a ModaSL?
ModaSL è una sim dedicata alla moda, al fashion e al design connesso a Second Life. La sua impostazione non commerciale permetterà la realizzazione, la presentazione, la promozione e la progettazione di tutte le nuove tendenze legate al mondo della moda e a tutti i suoi derivati. Composta da aree differenziate a seconda del campo preso in esame, ModaSL tenderà a diventare un solido punto di riferimento per chi crea e segue la moda, e le nuove ispirazioni riguardo al design virtuale. I canali saranno appunto multipli: due aree espositive, una interna e una esterna, che serviranno da galleria dinamica e da spazio di presentazione di oggetti di design. Ci saranno due aree passerelle per dare spazio a nuovi stilisti o nuove collezioni. Ed inoltre: un cinema/auditorium per dare spazio anche all'arte cinematografica legata a Second Life; uno spazio informazioni dove Miss Bliss Janus accoglierà domande, indicazioni e consigli riguardo a nuovi negozi e alle nuove tendenze internazionali; uno spazio "Outfit della settimana" con relativi riferimenti ad accostamenti e LM; un palazzo dedicato ai blogger, che diventerà sede fisica all'interno del Metaverso di tutti i più importanti blog di moda che girano attorno Second Life; una scuola di moda e ultimo ma non meno importante, il celeberrimo Fashion Cafè, luogo di ritrovo per feste, discussioni e comunità. Ed infine, a circa 1000 metri, potrete trovare già da ora il famoso Freak Show, spazio dedicato all'Arte visiva di Second Life.
Ricordiamo che ModaSL fa parte dell'arcipelago che comprende ItaliaSL, entrambe sim di Jacopo Perenti, e che sarà ultimata a breve e pronta ad ospitare sfilate, mostre, gallerie, presentazioni, e chi più ne ha più ne metta.
