“Hope and Memory have one daughter and her name is Art, and she has built her dwelling far from the desperate field where men hang out their garments upon forked boughs to be banners of battle. O beloved daughter of Hope and Memory, be with me for a while.” ~ W.B. Yeats

"Everything great that ever happened in this world, happened first in somebodys imagination"
Astrid Lindgren
There is a quiet hour just before dawn when the world seems to breathe differently. The sea rests in a soft hush, its surface smooth as glass, waiting for the first touch of light. In that stillness, a single reflection can feel like a revelation.
On mornings like this, I walk along the shoreline of my imagination—a place shaped not only by my own steps, but by the gentle footprints of friends who wander with me from afar. Each of them carries a lantern of their own making: a photograph, a thought, a moment of wonder captured through their lens. And when they share it, their light travels across the water toward me.
At first, the reflections appear as small ripples—subtle insights, quiet gestures, a kind word beneath an image. But as they reach my sea, they shimmer into something larger. Their light blends with my own, and suddenly the world I create is no longer mine alone. It becomes a shared horizon, a place where colors deepen, shadows soften, and inspiration moves like a tide.
In this world, friendship is not loud or demanding. It is a peaceful reflection— a beautiful light touching the water, reminding me that creativity is never solitary.
Every comment, every shared moment, every captured fragment of beauty becomes a star in the gentle constellation we build together. And as the sun finally rises, its warmth reveals what has been growing quietly all along: a unique world shaped by connection, gratitude, and the simple joy of seeing through each other’s eyes.
So to my Flickr friends— thank you for your light. Thank you for the reflections that reach me across the sea. Thank you for helping me shape a world where inspiration feels endless, and friendship feels like dawn breaking over calm water.

Her presence cannot be held, only felt in the hush between shadows. She is not form, but radiance traced upon darkness— a silhouette of light, revealing love where no other can reach.
She rises warm, unseen yet near, guiding the sails of my heart across waters that shimmer with promise. Each thought of her sets me adrift, carried by currents I cannot resist. She cradles me in a sea of devotion, not by force but by her gentle breath, and her silence glows like a hidden lantern, softening the darkness that surrounds me.
Her voice is not a sound but a whisper woven into stillness, a tenderness I cannot speak yet endlessly confess. I ache to answer, to pour my soul into the hush that binds me to her, though shadows remain upon the horizon, mysteries veiled beyond my reach. Is she real, or a dream I yearn for, a light concealed within the darkness?
And still, I surrender to her presence. In silence I embrace her—an eternal dawn that never fades, a secret flame that burns unseen, and a love only her light can awaken. It is a love that illuminates shadows no other can reach, revealing truths hidden in places untouched by all but her radiance. Her presence cannot be held; it is the unveiling of mystery, the quiet revelation of a truth that belongs to her alone.
