Miami (/maɪˈæmi/; Spanish pronunciation: [miˈami]) is a seaport city at the southeastern corner of the U.S. state of Florida and its Atlantic coast. According to a 2009 UBS study of 73 world cities, Miami was ranked as the richest city in the United States, and the world's fifth-richest city in terms of purchasing power. Miami is nicknamed the "Capital of Latin America" and is the largest city with a Cuban-American plurality.
Miami has the third tallest skyline in the U.S. with over 300 high-rises. Downtown Miami is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and many large national and international companies. The Civic Center is a major center for hospitals, research institutes, medical centers, and biotechnology industries.
For more than two decades, the Port of Miami, known as the "Cruise Capital of the World", has been the number one cruise passenger port in the world. It accommodates some of the world's largest cruise ships and operations, and is the busiest port in both passenger traffic and cruise lines.
Metropolitan Miami is the major tourism hub in the American South, number two in the U.S. after New York City and number 13 in the world, including the popular destination of Miami Beach.

Shooting murals and similar street art (graffiti I can do without) is always a favorite of mine when working the streets of a city. The art throughout the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami is absolutely some of the best I've ever come across. The food and other entertainment in the area is quality as well.
The comments shot is a very large mural on the roof of the building, only visible from above.

A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to travel to Miami to see some members of my family. I didn't see the Sun in the "Sunshine State" during the 72 hours I was there.
Miami, like Vancouver, is another city renowned for its air quality, greenery, clean water, orderly streets and green initiatives. One could also find endless pleasures with its array of cultural events, museums, music scene, and diverse cuisines. As a visitor from Vancouver, I had the additional benefit of enjoying reprieve from rain during December, not to mention the kaleidoscope of colors that are so reminiscent of the best days of summer, in this land of passion and warmth. Here is a selected work from the trip.

Fantastic sunset over a beautiful pond that caugh my attention from the very beginning. I was able to capture some intresting images around the pond during the few days we stayed there.
Miami Skyline has grown more than double over night. since Aliens from the outer space has decided to land their mega spaceship "X" and be a part of it. which means more reflections. Now that is a good thing :)

Miami Vice Set, Miami, Florida, USA
Miami Vice is an American television crime drama series created by Anthony Yerkovich and produced by Michael Mann for NBC. The series starred Don Johnson as James "Sonny" Crockett and Philip Michael Thomas as Ricardo "Rico" Tubbs, two Metro-Dade Police Department detectives working undercover in Miami. The series ran for five seasons on NBC from 1984–1989. The USA Network later began airing reruns the next year, in 1990, and actually broadcast an originally unaired episode during its syndication run of the series on January 25, 1990.
Another beautiful day in Miami caught red handed. Yup that is true, now a days with this strange weather it is a treat to see such a beautiful day. so i had to take my camera out and save it for memories :)
