'Tis not the season but, in the course of packing, I found a shot of my mother's Dog Nativity. Yup, I made all of them. She displays them on a baby grand piano.
I'm sorry it's not panoramic because you can't see the Beasts of Burden (Rottweilers), the Star of Bostonham (Boston Terrier) and a lot of Angels and Shepherds. The upside-down red dog in the foreground is a Pomeranian named Smokey rolling in something bad.
I get to post it on SPCR because the (probably not a virgin) Mary is a White Standard Poodle. The model was Anastasia aka Miss Poo.
I spy with my little eye 6 Poodles, but I have insider's knowledge.

It aint perfect, but it's close.
The strip lights were too bright so I put a 1K Ohm resister on them which helped a bit but still wasn't happy so I put some semi-transparent tape at the top of each meter to dull the brightness. MDF is very nice to work with. I stained the box with MinWax wood finish "Early American" - several coats.
It would have been better if I had used some actual hardwood, but I'm cheap. What can I say.
Still amazed at how accurate POV-Ray is. Great software for developing a prototype... if you have the time.
