New Adventure Travel Caetano CitySmart-bodied MAN 14.240 OU14 SXO is captured in September 2020 on Nantyffin Road in the Llansamet area of Swansea, when passing between the Great Western main line.

She was operating Service 45 (Morriston Hospital-Clydach-Birchgrove-Llansamlet-Winchwen-Bonymen-Swansea) under contract to Swansea Council, which the company has operated since 2014.

Displaying fleetnumber MC125, this was subsequently corrected to MC124.

New Adventure Travel is continuing with its fleet wide rebranding exercise and has now introduced a new fleet numbering system.

Whilst a small number of vehicles based at Cardiff depot have received the new magenta fleet livery, those based at Swansea are retaining white and blue, but are in the course of receiving Adventure : Swansea fleetnames.

Ten of the 13 Caetano CitySmart-bodied MAN 14.240s allocated to the depot have been treated so far, and these are now carrying new fleetnumbers in the '100' series with MC prefixes. These are also displaying new 'SA' depot codes.

Representing these is OU14 SXP, which at the time was numbered MC124, though this was subsequently corrected to MC125, as she passes "The Vivs" at Sketty Cross when operating Service 118 between Rhossili and Swansea in August 2020.

I started my under-age drinking days at The Vivs when studying A Levels at what is now Gower College just up the road, so the pub holds fond memories.

This photo and about 600 others have been donated to the Society by Mike Clement and add a lot to our memories of a Formby now gone.

The 7th Annual Mike Pero Southern Classic motorcycle racing was again held at Levels Raceway near Timaru in the South Island of New Zealand. Run by the CAMS Racing Club the club did an excellent job with the very full programme of events. As the photos show the weather was sunny and hot, then overcast, then hot again on the Saturday. This was in sharp contrast to the Friday when qualifying had to be cancelled in the afternoon when heavy rain set in. This event and the Burt Munro Challenge are the two premium events in the South Island and both are worth a visit to enjoy the sights and sounds. My photos focus on the earlier bikes present. If you want full size copies of the photos without the watermark let me know. They are available for private use at no cost. I normally take the time to name the photos to give the year and model of bike. If you need to know details either select the photo as a favourite or leave a comment and i will add the information. Enjoy the photos.
