This AEC Swift (known to LT as the Merlin) was donated to the Feltham Community Association for use as a shop in 1981, where it stood for about ten years. This picture was taken in April 1983.

 

Amazingly, it got saved for restoration and is now at the Wythall Transport Museum.

London Transport AEC Merlin MBA 543, VLW 543G in Cheapside working on Red Arrow route 502. This slide was in a collection picked up at a jumble sale it was over exposed and very dirty after a bit of work with a decent scanner these are the results, well worth seeing I think
