I may change to Suntour expert thumbies I have lying around and go friction. XTR front and rear derailers. Again different from catalogue, upgrade from Deore. Shimano cantis and Diacompe levers. Cool Ritchey designed biplane fork. Old Avocet saddle. The gal I bought it from had Specialized wheels that I replace with old Mavics, front radial laced, rear 3 cross. Street tires on because the only off-road I ride is trails. Great for urban riding around DC.
