Der MB trac 1000 (1982 Baumuster WDB 441.161 mit einem Mercedes-Benz, Typ: OM 352, ab 1987 WDB 441.162 mit einem Mercedes-Benz, Typ: OM 366 ) ist ein Systemtraktor aus der mittleren MB-trac-Reihe von Mercedes-Benz.

Heute nimmt man einfach von haus aus schon breitere reifen, nur damals gab es sie nicht.

Manhattan Beach Pier at sunset. I've been trying to post an autumn color fall shot, but have been to busy to look through the files. Here's the other day at the beach instead. Still getting my hands dirty with the R5. It's different enough from the 5DIV to where I feel like I'm re-learning many things. An absolute beast of a camera though. Very entertaining to get to know. This is one pic. It handled the highlights and the shadows like a true champ. I would usually have to add a little of the sky back from the -2 exposure but there was no need to with the file from this camera. Great stuff. Very great stuff indeed.

The newer elevator was a replacement built in 1982, the older one was a replacement built in 1947. The elevators on the site were owned Patterson Grain Company originally but are privately owned now. The Lowe Farm, MB Grain Elevator, which was just down the highway to the east, was destroyed in 2021.
