175005 speeds by the GWR lower quadrant signals of Moreton-on-Lugg with 1V38 0931 Manchester Piccadilly to Carmarthen on 12th September 2022.
The delivery of a brand new location cabinet by Works Delivery staff when I was present indicated that the proposed replacement of the signalling with colour lights scheduled for October, is at least on target.
The box is shown as opening in 1943 so is presumably a replacement for an earlier structure.
It is one of many with semaphore signalling still extant on the route between Shrewsbury and Newport. The red lens in the peg for the route to the sidings appears to be missing.

Families going home after gathering sea shells for their dinner, it was a great timing while I'm
taking with this sunset shot last Sunday, so I grab this apportunity take couple of click on this..I didn't use any filter on this...have a little ajustment in saturation and color balance..
