The MAZ-537L, also known as the KZKT-537L, is a heavy ballast truck developed from earlier versions of the MAZ-537 and 535. It is used at airports to tow the largest aircraft. My model is a 1:40 scale truck from the late Cold War period. Its width is 9 studs. It features functional suspension and two steerable front axles.
Forgot to upload these a while back. They're from a shoot with this adorable engaged couple at my school :)
Early 1960s version of a MAZ-style truck, which is just a mod/recolor of Erik's TAM 525T(25) coupled with Corvin's MAN HX95 trailer.
I build this version of my MAZ 537 actually before I finished my dark green version with the trailer. I add sterling with a hand of god wheel on the top and later in the days the power functions LED for headlights.
Before you start thinking that I must be really spoiled for time working from home, this isn't a brand-new model. Last year, I built a Rubezh coastal defence system, which uses a MAZ-543 chassis. That model was loosely based on an earlier version of this Shahab-2 ballistic missile TEL, which I built back in 2014. After I built the Rubezh, I also made a few changes to the ballistic missile launcher. Hence the new pictures.
