This is my new baby girl! I went to meet her 2 weeks ago and this is one of the many images I took of her. She will be coming home on July 17. We can't wait!

Taken off the Yorkshire coast near Bempton Cliffs last summer.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving any comments or faves, they are very much appreciated.
I find these shapes a little frightening, like a scene of destruction left behind after a war between armies of giant arachnids. An icy chill runs down my spine as I push on past this barrier to find the safety of secrecy deeper into my hidden world of Sevonia where I have felt warm squirms of pleasure at the sight of one or two treasures amongst the trees. Taking a camera is only part of the adventure there. Am I r ambling?
OK, I get a bit carried away there!
Apparently there is quite a lot of metro mayhem here, but luckily for me I've not had to catch a train in years. So I just look and admire from a distance, and hope to shoot one every now and then. With the camera, that is.
Having said that, there is something hypnotic about train travel. That gentle rocking and the clack of the tracks underneath as you fly over them...lovely.
Another ICM. I like train tracks because of all those lines, and they've come up rather nicely with the camera movement. There's just something so appealing about lines, don't you think?
A image from a few years back. Layered 5 images as the storm was moving from right to left. Not too bad just a little movement. Didn't like the first time I tried this stack, but I do like this one better.

A Northtown to Chicago stack train was hustling through Waterman on the C&I with a trio of four axle motors no longer plying the main line.
BN GP28M 1502 was rebuilt from a Northern Pacific GP9 and was looking good in Cascade Green.
Trailing was a former Santa Fe GP7u and a B23-7, making a nice sight as they zipped along the C&I.
these were taken in this little old fashioned village where you can visit actual houses from this area from the 1800s which have been cared for and restored.
The last from a sequence of shots on the Elgol Coastline from this evening.
This was just after Sunset and there is still some great colours in the sky, the tide was well on it's way in at this point and with each surge the waves broke higher up onto the beach leaving the photographer the job of picking the shutter speed and the right receding wave to shoot.
A little further into the scene the sea is a lot more violent, and can be seen crashing over one of the remaining sea stacks.

This is from a recent trip to Stonehenge II in Ingram, TX. While we were driving out there, I "interviewed" TxPilot, Digicord and Pixelated~Light about light painting, with tons of images to go along with it. You can check it out on our Blog site.

We went from a clear sky with nearby ominous clouds to multiple rain showers in just a few minutes. Let the monsoon mayhem begin!
The mayhem occurs annually when the wildebeest are on their trek in search of greener pastures. Moving across the vast Serengeti/Mara plains they have to cross numerous rivers.
This photograph was taken when they were crossing from the Mara Triangle back into the reserve and was a very civilised crossing. They chose a very easy place to drop down the banks and also there were no crocodiles waiting for them in the waters. There are other instances where thousands of them die both from the drop and the waiting crocodiles.
Miss Mayhem and her runners-up work the crowd a little bit and give Lucky a some props in the process.
Midwest Mayhem 2010 rolled into Lexington's Masterson Station Park with rods, kustoms, kruisers, mini- and monster-trucks, bikes, hot girls and cool cars. Sponsored by Lucky's Autosports, the Mayhem is one of the biggest grassroots show in this part of the country.
This is old. But I like uploading. This is white chapel I believe. Don't really listen to them. But they were good live. Wish that guys arm wasn't blurry. :) Oh well.
thanks! <3
