Enigmatic, but Marco has been looking out into the street for a few years now and he always looks me straight in the eye!

Der Marco Polo Tower in der Hamburger Hafencity mit dem dahinter liegenden , brandneu fertiggestelltem, Hübnerkai.
In Hamburg wird das Gebäude auch gerne als Dönerspieß bezeichnet, Weil es eben sehr stark daran erinnert.
Das besondere an der Architektur ist, daß sich das Gebäude nach oben hin Trichterartig erweitert und die Etagen sich immer weiter in sich verdrehen.
Das Gebäude wird von allerlei Prominenz bewohnt. Die oberste Etage gehört oder gehörte dem Herren Abramowitsch.Ebenso residiert hier HSV kicker, Frau Helene Fischer und wie man vernimmt, hat auch Boris Becker, noch kurz bevor er seine Einzelzelle bezog, ein Apartment hier erworben.

In Hamburg, the building is often called the "Döner Kebab Spit" (kebab spit) because it strongly resembles a kebab.
The special thing about its architecture is that the building expands upwards like a funnel, and the floors continue to twist.
The building is inhabited by all sorts of celebrities. The top floor belongs, or once belonged, to Mr. Abramovich. A HSV Kicker, Mrs. Helene Fischer also reside here, and it is rumored that Boris Becker also bought an apartment here shortly before moving into his solitary confinement cell.
A great thing to spot while working away. A little rough around the edges, and later when I heard it on the move; too noisy for me - but still a lovely surpirse.
