The river in San Marcos, Texas flows strong and pure. It's a pretty city and it's exploding with new developments. It's actually the fasting growing city in Texas. I just hope the city planners are keeping a close eye on the local resources, like this one.

Der Marco Polo Tower in der Hamburger Hafencity mit dem dahinter liegenden , brandneu fertiggestelltem, Hübnerkai.
In Hamburg wird das Gebäude auch gerne als Dönerspieß bezeichnet, Weil es eben sehr stark daran erinnert.
Das besondere an der Architektur ist, daß sich das Gebäude nach oben hin Trichterartig erweitert und die Etagen sich immer weiter in sich verdrehen.
Das Gebäude wird von allerlei Prominenz bewohnt. Die oberste Etage gehört oder gehörte dem Herren Abramowitsch.Ebenso residiert hier HSV kicker, Frau Helene Fischer und wie man vernimmt, hat auch Boris Becker, noch kurz bevor er seine Einzelzelle bezog, ein Apartment hier erworben.

In Hamburg, the building is often called the "Döner Kebab Spit" (kebab spit) because it strongly resembles a kebab.
The special thing about its architecture is that the building expands upwards like a funnel, and the floors continue to twist.
The building is inhabited by all sorts of celebrities. The top floor belongs, or once belonged, to Mr. Abramovich. A HSV Kicker, Mrs. Helene Fischer also reside here, and it is rumored that Boris Becker also bought an apartment here shortly before moving into his solitary confinement cell.
These are pretty tough digs for a dog but in reality guys like this one are the lucky ones. Sometimes they come in pretty emotionally beat up but after a couple of weeks of experiencing kind treatment they perk up and start to get happy.
A great thing to spot while working away. A little rough around the edges, and later when I heard it on the move; too noisy for me - but still a lovely surpirse.

The Marcos Mansion in Batac, Ilocos Norte, is one of the properties owned by the late Philippine president Ferdinand E. Marcos. It is also known as Bahay Ti Ili. Currently, it is being maintained as a private museum by the Marcos family displaying Marcos memorabilia. Adjacent to this mansion is the mausoleum which houses Marcos’ remains.
