These magnets were given as thank you gifts for the guests at my brother's wedding last week.
I made 160 magnets :-)
This group of magnet fishers had probably only just started when I came across them near Lock 27, but had already raised a section of Heras fencing and a "Boris" bike. It seems a commendable activity, and remarkably convivial - as The Guardian newspaper reported recently, a cross between metal detecting and environmentalism.
I am the Happiest and Luckiest person in the whole wide world. These came in the mail last night from Sew.Whitney, but I did not get a chance to take pics. until today. I was too excited to open the package and neglected to take pix of the pretty packaging also. I love love love these magnets. I especially love how she highlighted the words. The reason they are so far apart is because they are very strong magnets. Thank you, Whitney. I cannot express how much I love these magnets.

It came with a free magnet! <3
The magnet lifts the metal and drops it down the chute to the bay below. Bricks, stones, tar, paving slabs etc are left on the conveyor and fall of the conveyor into a bay outside.
I got some of those supermagnets for holidaytime. My friends came to visit this weekend and I just noticed they left me a little magnet sculpture on the fridge. This is looking straight up, towards the ceiling, up the face of the fridge.
Someone gave me a set of glass marble magnets with coffee cups on them and I've been in love ever since. Thought I'd make some of my own today out of ribbon scraps. Need to find a better way to photograph them...
