A few of my bottle cap magnets.

They pulled 4 scooters out of the river in 15 minutes!

I created the reverse of my minimoos using the palette from my blog. I also made a 1 inch round circle for the perfect spot to stick one of my magnets.

It's a great business card AND it comes with something memorable and functional.

That’s right, button magnets! For sale here: www.etsy.com/listing/50468451/button-magnets

Now you can own a piece of history with my handmade button magnets.

These are Great anywhere. Fridge, cars, around your miserable cubicle, it might even stick to your iphone.

Why are my buttons great? JUST LOOK AT IT.

It’s got me, mom, Ellery and MAX. If you are a fan, you would know Max is pretty amazing.

If I sell enough of these, I might even be able to get a ticket to Saint Petersburg to pay him a visit. He doesnt have a fridge still. He just leaves his food near his window because it is cold.

The buttons are 100% American. The parts and magnets. Buying this will certainly help you stimulate the economy.

Theres only 50 sets of 4 magnets available now, and they are all handmade by me for DAYS, and about 1 inch in diameter.

I can’t guarantee that same level of love when I make it big time and some kid somewhere else makes them.

Buy one already. It’s pretty cheap, and I don't need 200 magnets on my fridge.

sincerely,

Boey

Stars play Webster Hall, Saturday February 25. This really was a great show - I think that Stars are the best boy/girl duo going right now (no, I don't consider Rilo Kiley to be much of a boy/girl duo at this point). They both have sensitive, clear, beautiful voices and put them behind tremendous songs and lyrics.

I fought off some of those lame sorts of kids that try and edge into your spot against the stage, maintaining my position directly in front of the Amy's monitor. Still, I was able to hear a round mix and was suitably wooed by a beautiful evening.

Stars is: Torquil Campbell, Amy Millan, Patrick McGee (Drums), Genevieve Walker (Violin), Stephen Ramsay (Guitar), Chris Seligman (Keys), Evan Cranley (Bass). (Thanks for the help, Patrick!)

Lennonville is a ghost town in Western Australia near the town of Mount Magnet, established in 1898. It was gazetted in 1896, after gold having been found two years earlier at the location by prospectors Lennon and Palmer. At the peak of its existence, 1897 to 1906, the town had a population of 3,000 and five hotels, outperforming nearby Mount Magnet and Boogardie. By 1909, however, the town was already in decline and, after a huge fire swept through the main street of the town, a general exodus begun. Today, the most predominant reminder of the towns former glory is the railway platform.

The Northern Railway was built by the Western Australian Government Railways during the 1890-1900 and provided for passenger and freight services from Perth into Lennonville and Mt magnet in the Murchison Goldfields. There was a branch line from Cue to the mining town of Big Bell. After the completion of the line to Cue work commenced on the line to Nannine, it wasn't until 1909 that the line was extended from Nannine to Meekatharra and for a while to Wiluna. During the 1960s passenger services were terminated at Mullewa with services to places further along the line being replaced by road coach, while the overnight passenger service 'The Mullewa' ceased altogether 1974.

This was the beginning of my illustrious male modeling career. ;)

The colors are only there to make it easier to understand what goes where.

Notice at 0:38 (seconds left) that the blue magnets are only touching the orange magnets and the red magnets are only touching the green magnets.

Also at 0:25 (seconds left) that you combine the subunits by connecting the red magnets together.

When you get your morning coffee why not pay for the next person in line. You will definitely make their day! And you will feel like a superhero all day long. Or write a letter to your grandma or your best friend, they would love to hear from you! Put some change in an expired parking meter, spread some wildflower seeds in your neighborhood, tell a joke. The possibilities are endless! These are "random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty", a phrase that started a movement and enriched countless peoples lives. It started with Anne Herbert, who jotted the phrase down in a restaurant after turning it over in her mind for several days. The simple concept she developed was to think of any good deed that should be done more often, and then do it randomly. Make today your superhero RAK day and spread the love and happiness. You can't commit a random act of kindness without feeling as if your own burdens have been lightend. For more info about the movement visit www.actsofkindness.org .

My husband wrote a limerick for the piece:

There's a mild-mannered hero Clark Kent

His exploits were such an event

Put your mind to it

You too can do it

If you give it a hundred percent

Brighten up your fridge with this piece of art and be reminded that there is a superhero in each in every one of us.

I left it on a car in the Cuesta College parking lot. :o)

Otis Elevator mechanism

Taken at the London Transport Museum Depot, Acton Town

I took this picture a week or so ago when friends from out of town came to NYC. They wanted to see the Brooklyn Bridge...

Fun with fridge magnets on suppliers day at e2save.com offices.

These fun “metal and magnet” frames are great for holding favorite photographs, recipes and important notes. They can be changed easily. Each metal and magnet strip is made in Pennsylvania from recycled farm machinery. They are hand cut using a plasma cutter.

They are coated with a clear water based metal enamel. Each strip will have subtle variations. They are cut by hand and each piece of rusty metal has slight color differences.

Promotional brochure that came along with an application form from Australian Pensioners' Insurance Agency (APIA), complete with an extra large fridge magnet.

Daytime TV in recent years has been screening frequent life and funeral insurance advertisements from several providers; the rather cheesy image on the front features in the APIA ad!

Little ones are magnets, big ones are bottle openers..
