Super cute love birds magnet!!!
These little love birds are celebrating their love and the beginning of spring! They have a special log that they meet there all the time, and they call it love log!
Not an ordinary magnet! One of a kind...So unique...
Extremely detailed with lovely vivid colors.
It is made of polymer clay, a natural branch and a strong rare earth magnet. I have painted the eyes and details on their tails with acrylic colors.
Size: 2cm x 6.7cm
Made for my RATZ swap partner. These are 1/4 inch hexagons, handsewn and then blanket stitched to a felt backing with a magnet. (And yes, that is the back of a paper plate---I only use the finest in backgrounds, lol!)
gocco printed magnets on an oatmeal cotton...i'm so happy with these! made using a re-purposed curtain. my first attempt as using the gocco on fabric.
a Google search tells me that this sneak peek of yesteryear adorned the building when it was home to the Magnet Building Society
Believe it or not, these are all magnets. We rounded up a collection of good looking little candy packages and carefully pried them open, replaced the contents with strong magnets held in place by hot glue, and sealed them back up again. There are also a few larger magnets-- with much lager magnets inside-- for overkill.
Here's the sneaky (crafty?) part: Before sealing the little boxes back up again, we filled them with dried beans (pinto, if you must ask), weighted and distributed to approximate the original contents. The box of Sugar Babies is partially filled with loose beans and the box of raisins (which are generally less mobile) contains a larger number of dried beans held in place by hot glue.
The end result is that the boxes look, feel, and sound like brand new unopened packages. If they didn't stick to the fridge, you'd never know that there were magnets inside. The downside: Sooner or later, a guest at our house is going to be very surprised when they open one, hoping to find a snack.

I took the drycleaner’s plastic off this skirt a few hours ago and I’ve already smudged it with dirt. It’s a magnet for dust, lint, and pet hair. This is why I don’t wear black. (And avoid solid colors.
Sweater, thrifted. Skirt, Mossimo. Shoes, BCBGeneration. Sunglasses and earrings, Girlprops. Necklaces, thrifted and/or vintage. Bag, Melie Bianco.
It's nothing a little strategic purse positioning can't hide. But I can't keep that up all day.

Fabbri's work is a magnet for vandals - here in a rare moment after a cleaning.
Made with 394 ZenMagnets... The toughest part was to get an idea of what I could build... the swing itself can be made in 2 minutes ;-)

I was born in Canada and have had the good fortune to visit San Francisco and Maine. We were visiting friends in Bangor, ME and they took us to the Breakwater Lighthouse in Rockland. I loved it there. We also visited some quaint fishing villages. I'd love to return there one day! I loved San Francisco. It was such a thrill to see it in person. And Canada is always in my heart. I miss being there. I got to see Victoria, BC. Montreal, PQ, Ottawa and Toronto ON.

An eastbound magnetation load approaches Savanna IL on Oct 16 2015, headed for the iron ore concentrator plant at Reynolds, IN.. Will be interesting to see how long these trains last, given that the parent company Magnetation LLC filed for bankruptcy in 2015. Check out all the PTC antennas on the lead unit.
Made using pins from a childhood toy. The magnets hold the pins on and act as a spine. Spirals, curves, and curves made from lines have always been my favorite shapes and designs.
